a win8.1/64bit PE bootable stick. If the persistent image contain the XMR wallet and the DB is written to the USB/Local HDD, that would've been awesome.
Oman this would be so cool if an entrepreneur could package this in the form of a monero application specific device that was 100% plug and play with an environment designed to prevent them from being able to make security mistakes. I would probably pay way too much for that. Or even if the devs could some day produce a developer signed bootable image. ^^^ I dream of a device like this for Monero daily^^^ Off network cold wallet storage device but can be plugged in to transfer or pay with. You should watch USB Armory from InversePath

A bit of wood: It would make a nice woodwallet (with a 3D printer or a sticker) Should engrave reasonably well too. Hmm, I might have to try this...

There's been extensive literature on this (i'm sure david L will step in with a good link or two) Sure, sir! - https://youtu.be/_PRLuaD-qVQ?t=10m12s "Monero is the esperanto name for money. Our target audience is 7 billions people so better to have an international name." - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563821.msg6362485#msg6362485 "Changing bitmonero (BMR) to monero (MRO)" Furthermore, bitcoin has already been "kleenexed" or "xeroxed" or "band aid"ed. (If you're outside the US, we call a tissues kleenex because a major brand "kleenex" made a lot of tissues. The company Xerox created the photocopier, and it was such a mindblowing concept that people didn't know what to call it, so Xerox had to come up with "photocopy", but peopled started calling the process "xeroxing"... I forget the name of the phenomenon, but companies actually invest money to STOP this from happening, because eventually the public associates a given thing with a given brand name, regardless of the actual brand.) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antonomasia

If you guys REALLY want a wooden engraving of the XMR logo and "Monero", I could maybe make it happen with the couple of CNC machines I have access to Hand carved? Noo... that would be too messy/difficult to replicate With CNC, I can create 1 design on computer, and produce the same thing 1,000,000 times (computer controlled engraving process).

A bit of wood: It would make a nice woodwallet (with a 3D printer or a sticker) Should engrave reasonably well too. Hmm, I might have to try this... The logo looks incredible there. From a former cabinet and furniture makers view I would get rid of that pine or spruce wood and go try out walnut, oak, or ash. Plank is huge compared to logo. Cut it down a little. Engraved with the painted logo and lettering the way it is colored now would look good on real wood, just a little bigger on the logo and lettering and smaller on the wood plank. Perhaps some fancy routing around the edges. This company does great work by the way. No affiliation. http://www.woodcraft.com/Static/engraving.aspxMy .02¢ worth.

I typically would not go for soft wood while making projects such as these, as you said As well as using CNC for the Monero symbol and word, I may use acrylics to paint the symbol and letters, then varnish the final product.

Haha I know, it was a joke reference to the user WoodCollector that sold expensive items dubiously claimed to be hand carved.
