This is exactly what I mean about the vile, hate-filled attitude of the Dash community. You label anyone who criticizes you as a "troll" create Troll Brigade lists, create a fake coin ANN about "Trollero" etc.

with 103 posts in the previous 4 weeks.

I will engage in discussions there, in particular the two occasions I mentioned. If you take a look at when I posted there you will see this is true.

Actually we, and a bunch of unrelated people having nothing to do with Monero but also opposed to instamines, think that coins such as dash that mined 500k coins in a bit over an hour and 2m coins in 30 hours, after a poorly-defined launch date, should be identified as such. It doesn't seem to me it makes much difference whether a huge stash of coins is spit out immediately before launch (premine) or immediately after (instamine). Both have an enormously front-loaded distribution.

Hello Monero community.

I've refrained from posting about this issue here, but now that I see that this bickering has caused you to lose a major investor, I've got to say my piece.

Granted, I am a Dash investor, but I am one of the more moderate posters in our community. I occasionally tweet about other coin's news, and I pride myself on having an open mind. You will not see me trolling in another coin's forum.

I hope that we can all agree that this type of behaviour is ultimately self-defeating. I have a vested interest, not only in Dash, but also in the greater crypto community. This is the same kind of thing that caused the Dogecoin dev to leave crypto, and quite frankly, makes the whole crypto community look childish at best.

Please, end this now. This has been going on for weeks, and has anyone gained? Dash is losing value slowly, and Monero is plummeting. I think we can all agree that this campaign by a few is not having the desired effect.

Is Dash perfect? Absolutely not. Is Monero perfect? Absolutely not.

Let's respect each other. Just like there is Pepsi and Coke, and Apple and Samsung, there is room for more than one crypto in the future.

Let's use our time going forward to add value to our own cryptos, rather than trying to cut each other down. No one wins that battle, everyone loses.

Maybe then, we will win back lost investors.

There is no point in talking about dash anymore, that coin is already done for, no one can dump like otoh because the coins are highly concentrated into few hands, the hype around it is so the ones with masterdones can dump into innocent hands that is the origin of all this commotion plus the fact it was instamined, its an obvious scam, the next paycoin, and it will fall like one soon. I call for a complete blackout of dash and an ignore of anyone that post about it here.

The fight with DASH does not belong in either the main XMR or DASH threads, which is why it should be taken to a neutral thread such as https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1001642.0. So to that extent I do agree. On the other hand I do feel quoting a comment in the DASH thread such as the one from Minotaur26 that is equally relevant to Monero, with appropriate acknowledgement, is appropriate.
