Hey so I am new to Monero. Today I did a withdrawal from a casino safedice.com which supports Monero. Something went haywire during the withdrawal and safedice said there was an error and to contact the admins. I did and they said it was just a visual error and the tx went through but it never came to my account on poloniex.com tx was 416ddff12d441adbc348f91f2541db3903f54f504af7a479ddd81461a3864cee http://moneroblocks.eu/search/416ddff12d441adbc348f91f2541db3903f54f504af7a479ddd81461a3864ceehttps://minergate.com/blockchain/mro/transaction/416ddff12d441adbc348f91f2541db3903f54f504af7a479ddd81461a3864ceeHow do I tell this transaction actually went to 1) the deposit address of poloniex: 47sghzufGhJJDQEbScMCwVBimTuq6L5JiRixD8VeGbpjCTA12noXmi4ZyBZLc99e66NtnKff34fHsGR oyZk3ES1s1V4QVcB And how do I tell it went to my payment id: 68e597ef70ec0d050a44b135766f56e6a261249c149bc334f10d28826c3acc77 Around 830 Monero of mine will be lost if I can't figure this out. Either their system glitched or poloniex has glitched or they are scamming, but I have no way to tell. The money isn't the end of the world, but I'll never be able to trust or use this coin again if there is no way to protect myself from this kind of situation. Please tell me it doesn't work this way and I can verify where the transaction was sent somehow? How would this ever work for anything otherwise? I can contact poloniex if it will help. Or what can I ask safedice to verify that they sent it to the correct address/paymentid? Please help, Thank!

It seems this was sent without a payment ID. Delete your transaction ID in the message above and contact Poloniex immediately with the information provided here in a Ticket ( https://poloniex.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new). That's your best option and they may credit your account.

In reference to c & d by moneero. It's not a loaded question. It was a genuine request for clarity. However, I've since spoken to the devs privately and they have confirmed that they are on top of the situation. It's potentially very serious, and right now it is best that the details are kept private. That said, if you have any particular concerns I'd suggest contacting the devs directly.
Is it True?

Hi Guys. I have some questions about simplewallet/generic wallet commands. What is the best/easiest way of managing a large amount of addresses? Will simplewallet allow for creating new addresses frequently? How does poloniex manage their wallet?
Wrong information. I think they can handle this they need to manage a large amount of wallets. I dont kow but maybe simplewallet's or bitmonerod's APIs have a function for creating new wallets. Well, Poloniex does not manage a large number of wallets. They have one address and manage a large number of payment ID's which is the purpose of TheKoziTwo's script above. Maybe there is a new way of doing it with the recent commits by Moneromoo but its still new stuff.

I think you should email the safedice admin and create a Poloniex ticket as well. That's what I did. What happened was there was an issue with withdrawals so the admin did mine manually but didn't put the payment id. So if the safedice admin emails Polo and you create a ticket I'm pretty sure they'll figure it out. At least that's what I did, and I'll post on here when I find out if they can straighten it out or not.

As I checked, your deposit was already processed few days ago, and stayed in your account untouched since then. Are you sure you were checking the right account? Probably you have multiple accounts and was checking the wrong one. I already PM you your username.

I just grabbed the latest from github and I see this "integrated_address" feature.
It seems to generate a random payment ID for you and then integrates the payment ID into a new address so you don't have to specify the payment ID to your sender. Damn, that's cool.

Well, they were the first to embrace the altcoins and they are still hanging in there. I've had a few run-ins with Cryptsy, but have found them to be a decent bunch of people in the end. I think they take on too many coins and that might stretch them thin occasionally. I still use Cryptsy and it has served me well - touch wood! Poloniex too for buying Monero and Dashcoin (DSH) - True Dash. 'The latest Gaw scam' You mean there's been another? I was vaguely aware of a Gaw, Paycoin scam alert ... with Walmart mixed in there, somewhere. How were Cryptsy involved in the latest one? Talking about Paycoin, you've gotta take a look at this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=937480.0
