YES!! you are awesome Moneromooo! Is it okay if I send you more XMR as a token of my appreciation? Grin Cheesy

I'm not going to say no, thank you Cheesy
In fact, I added my Monero address at the bottom of the page. If people read that far down Smiley

Ah, nice, you beat me to it. And all in one too, that's handy.

Your logo is, kinda big. Tongue

Ah, I did not realize you were working on one too. We can have two though Smiley

-->> http://moneroaddress.org is live!! <<--

PS. I was going to try and resize the Monero logo a bit smaller but then I noticed the entire thing is a SVG vector image? Wow that's cool but how the hell does it work?

Edit. Now I decoded in base64 and it makes more sense.

Nice Cheesy

About the logo, it autoscales, yes. It doesn't look bad here, but I'm on a laptop so I guess it doesn't look so large compared to the text... I guess you can add width="50%" to the img tag.

The image was taken from getmonero.org btw.

Oh, that's what's going on. On a 1080p screen it gets quite large indeed.

That's really great! We will mention moneroaddress.org as a simple way to create a new monero address side by side with MyMonero.com for linking with Monero coins at cryptonic.net.

Edit: Done.

I finally had the time to finish up the Presentation and I'm very impressed. I especially like the way the descriptions are clear and concise without being ambiguous or overly complex. I've seen far too many convoluted presentations that try to confuse in the guise of explaining in order to instill awe. Very well done.

Fluffypony told me he was slightly redoing the audio on that vid, because you couldn't properly hear some of the audience' questions. So waiting for that before we share it on FB/Twitter/G+.

Can anyone explain in simple terms how to verify MoneroMooo's GPG signature on Git? (I've installed Git, but don't know what to do next.)

I'm having trouble importing Moneromooo's GPG public key myself. I do this:

Code:
gpg --import moneromooo.asc

but then I get gpg: no valid OpenPGP data found.

Any ideas?

That is curious. I just did this same command and it worked fine.
If you downloaded the file via github's web interface, make sure you got the "raw" file, and not an HTML wrapper. The file itself should be 3144 bytes.

After that:

git clone https://github.com/moneromooo-monero/monero-wallet-generator.git
cd monero-wallet-generator/
git show --show-signature

You should see "Good signature from..." with my key (4D6CEFC3). You will get a warning that the key isn't trusted, and that's expected, since you did not tell your gpg to trust my key.

Since the file ended up hosted on saddam's server, I will GPG sign the file itself as well for next version, so people don't have to use git for this.

Thanks, that worked! I didn't have the RAW file after all.

For those interested in running bitmonerod on a Raspberry Pi 2, it seems to work now with LMDB.

I don't know why, all I did was sudo apt-get update && upgrade after a period of not using the rpi.

Sync time is still slow, but it seems faster than BDB.

When I tried with LMDB approx two months ago, sync time was >10 days. (I shut down my RPi2 after 10 days.)

Has the ARM code base been updated, so that things are faster now?

We have just updated cryptonic.net. The next step is to start promoting it in Bitcoin world as we have produced some physical Bitcoins as well and accordingly to increase the exposure of Monero.

Correct me if I am wrong. Do you sell real silver coins for Monero & Bitcoin? If so it is not easily understood from your site. You should just write "We do sell real silver (or gold?) pieces of metall for Monero & Bitcoin".
