The MoneroWallet Android App is finished and ready for testing. Anyone interested can PM me for a download link.

If all goes well, app will be in the appstore within the next few days. Similarly, companion site will be ready within the next few days (still trying to figure out hosting, Firebase's 50$ monthly minimum is quite expensive as this project has been fully built/paid for by myself, and will be free and non-monetized).

This is great! Do you have a donation address?

Yes, I should probably list that. It would be very nice to have some assistance with the hosting Smiley.

Code:
44gExpFAq492GqTty2aU5hazYig8nkzVaJDohMcL9azbPAAnRj11zE7D2jAwzyjk9LZisWgZ9rb2NMEX7WEMh4BqSebpFBg

Sent you a pm in reddit. Any guidance on what to look after or just playing around and see if something is wrong?

Play around, tell me if there's a bug. It's heavily based on MyMonero.com so all the features there will be available here.

Do you want public response in the monero reddit or private?

Smooth would you ask the aeon coin shills to stay in their own thread and delete their off topic posts. I believe this is your bailiwick.

W00ps, It is not. My bad. I got it confused with the speculation thread.

I would prefer a GUI Wallet written in an other language then mono, I hate this MS windoof stuff....
Python would be nice  Grin

jwinterm's is in Python.
https://github.com/jwinterm/lightWallet

Is there plans to use the QT that was created by the guys over at Cryptonote?

https://forum.cryptonote.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=609

https://github.com/cryptonotefoundation/cryptonotewallet

Implementation looks rather easy.

There's not a plan at this point but it does look fairly straightforward and would be a reasonable community project.

Is there anyone willing and able to adapt the CryptoNote wallet to Monero? If the result would be a cross-platform, robust, maintainable GUI wallet, then I'd certainly contribute to a bounty! Would you be up for this, smooth?

That would be fantastic!

I did ask them not to spam here. I'd also ask them to delete their off topic posts, and furthermore any user is welcome to report their posts as off topic to the forum moderators who can (and often do) delete them.

Actually everyone is affected. Not just because small miners are punishing themselves with orphans, but relatively big group of ppl still mines using bitcoin core prior to 0.9.3 and even much older.

Very nice, but please consider putting this wallet at the f-droid market online, as i do not prefer the google one! -> https://f-droid.org/

EDIT: I registered an account and wrote down the 13 words seed, as long as the 13 words seed is the passphrase, now i can not log in to my account, that's not good guys. Also the site states my password is wrong, meaning the passphrase from before. This is not working, i stick to mymonero.com

The passphrase is not the seed. You do not enter the seed into the site. You only enter the passphrase that you setup.

Aaahh ok, got it. Entered the wright passphrase not the seed. I was a bit confusing with password and passphrase..... Maybe it could be renamed to something other than passphrase, it's a bit to near....

There's a new version of the offline address generator at https://github.com/moneromooo-monero/monero-wallet-generator.

It's got some CSS magic from antanst to make it look better.

The vanity address generator now checks address prefix validity.

There's a QR code for the "monero:$address" link for the new standard address.

I was always taught there are no stupid questions. what's a wonderlic anyway?

Late to the show, but I must add, as my u.g. num. analysis II prof used to say :  While there are no stupid questions, there most certainly are stupid questioners.  (To which I, not he, would add: Present company excluded, naturlich.)

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day.  Give a man a Poisson distribution and he eats at random times independent of one another, at a constant known rate.
