Korvi development funding 92% now Community just keeps doing good things. This is just one of many reason why this coin is the best. The craziest thing. The AVERAGE contribution is 800 usd . That's insane. If remove the 2 largest donations, one of which has no public record, the $ avg is 1/2 that. Many people bought their donated Moneroj at a cheaper price. This reasoning can be discounted because those people could always have sold for current prices. For those that don't/won't sell a different calculation is needed. 1 XMR = 1 XMR would be a start.

Whey don't you try reading the entire article before calling out the Devs? Or is this just another round of FUD starting? Bitmonero was a fork of Bytecoin designed to not have the 80% premine. But its initial developer either didn't know, didn't care, or wanted to profit from the de-optimized hashing. That initial developer was pretty quickly given the boot by the community, and in came an unrelated group of developers who took it over---who were, as far as I can tell, completely unaware of the deoptimization. So things sat there for a few weeks in the same state as Bytecoin. Disclaimer: I am hurting myself by pointing out FUD and have been mostly for 2 years so I think I shall stop. Nice guys finish last and I'm proving that consistently. I hold none ATM

To use the simplewallet (now it is called monero-wallet-cli) you must first run monerod and let it download the whole blockchain (it may take days). Then open the wallet and let it synchronize with monerod. After the use type "exit" in both windows to save the work done. This is a one time, time consuming process. After that it will synchronize quickly every time you open them.

This is awesome! Do you have any screenshots? I'm just curious... does it boot into a full GUI with a web browser to load that address generator? Or is it a CLI? I can't imagine its too complicated with the iso only being 100 megs. I look forward to trying it out.
