Prefer gold over bitcoin.. money depends n gold and not vise versa
In old times, the money depends on gold. Now, there is a new concept of money, that is bitcoin. Bitcoin or digital currency is the future. Yes that's exactly what it is, a concept. Ask anybody in the world if they know what gold is and then ask them about bitcoin, you'll know what I mean. True that... arent we talking about investment or just comaprision .. pros and cons But in a theoretical way bitcoin is far more superior than gold. You can't deny that. Most people hadn't heard about the Californian gold rush in the 1850s either. It's just a matter of promoting this tech. If most people can get their head around the idea that bitcoin is superior to gold then guess what. Bitcoin would be worth more than gold. I would definitely pick bitcoin. Bitcoin has it thing of convinience but still see the volatile market... and after all its virtual.. one fine day.. humans dont have electricity and boom gone. |

For me is 50/50. You never know when a mojor disaster could happen and all the infrastructure is gone.. Can't do much with bitcoins or dollars in these circumstances.  |

It depends on how much risk you want to take.
Gold is much safer i think.
But with bitcoin you can have the luck to win all of a sudden very much. You never know.
I should go for 50/50.

What you are saying is true, gold is much safer then bitcoins as the price of gold doesn't fluctuate like bitcoin does, but the people who wants to make quick profits and who have ability to take risks would definitely invest their money into bitcoins only because of its high price fluctuations. |

I have never researched about the gold and how the markets are performing but i know that it is much more popular than bitcoin, i pick bitcoin because i like it, the coin and the platform itself so bitcoin is my choice.

But the thing is to question:
Is the gold you are buying 100% pure real gold. Most are off by a fraction for the really good stuff. But most are just filled with alloy metals.
With bitcoin you know what you are getting into, with all the volatility that goes along with it.
I would rather stick to bitcoin personally.

I have never researched about the gold and how the markets are performing but i know that it is much more popular than bitcoin, i pick bitcoin because i like it, the coin and the platform itself so bitcoin is my choice.

Well. This is a bitcoin forum, is it not? We all ate active on this forum because we believe that bitcoin will succeed. My obvious answer is bitcoin. It the original cryptocurrency and has a thriving and growing community. Beside the invention of quantum computers, bitcoin is destined for greatness.

gold is not much safer, is more stagnant, but none is guaranteeing me that the price will not decrease in a long distant future and since gold is used for a very long term storage, you get the whole picture... also...for day trading i think bitcoin is better, more profit to be made if you are good, and some time you don't even need leverage |

gold is not much safer, is more stagnant, but none is guaranteeing me that the price will not decrease in a long distant future and since gold is used for a very long term storage, you get the whole picture... also...for day trading i think bitcoin is better, more profit to be made if you are good, and some time you don't even need leverage Bitcoin is best for day trading if you want to make a quick profit, so for short term bitcoin is a better option to invest, but for long term I would still choose gold as we know that its definitely gonna survive in the market but not sure about bitcoins whether it would survive or simply disappear. |

if you are interested you should always only invest in physical gold overall.
Now at the recent long term low it's not too bad to invest in Gold overall if you want investing really long term.
Bitcoin is in the end a highly speculative investment.

I would pick both. Gold is more stable in terms of price. Bitcoin has the chance to sky rocket in terms of price, but may flop. So it's safe to have a 50/50. If I had to pick one, then I'd go with Bitcoin, because it has a higher chance of raking in profit.

I would pick both under any circumstances.
Gold can be exchanged into fiat very easily and is very stable for long-term. Bitcoin on the other hand is not that easily exchangeable and too risky for the long-term.

Yes I also will pick both and gold and bitcoin but gold would be in very less amount compared to bitcoin. I will pick bitcoin 80% of my investments whereas gold will occupy only for renaming 20%. Because bitcoin will yield more returns compared to gold in short and long term perspective. |
