Why don't the people that are having trouble using the linux wallet, try using the windows wallet on an windows emulator?

That should work  Grin

I got the wallet open on windows since a while but still only 1 connection and say no source bloc available

Don't get me wrong, I want this coin to survive as much as the rest of you do.  But the harsh reality for anyone who has been mining for any length of time is that there are scam coins everywhere!!

I was one of the lucky ones with WhiteCoin, got out breaking even.  But there are a lot of people who are still wondering WTF happened!!  How can the DEV run off and dump the premine and bolt!!  Even more horror stories about IPOs.

If you are going to pay a bounty for a pool, make it worthwhile, that's why I donated!!!  Because there are as many shady pool operators as there are scamcoins!!!

I couldn't agree more with you.  I have been burned far to many times in the past by these shady pools.  Scryptominers and Tales from the Scrypt are just a few recent ones I can think of.

I am looking at creating my own pool on a extra computer I have.  It's a 4 core amd 2.5ghz 8 gig ram 500gig hd 57Mpbs Download 13Mpbs upload connection.  Not that greatest, but its a start.
It already has windows 7 and ubuntu 12.04 lts installed.  I have been looking at p2pool or NOMP.  I could really use some help setting it up.  My Linux skills are basic to intermediate.

If you are looking to start a pool, rent a VM from digital ocean.  I bet there is plenty out there that can help you!!

Working on a pool. Its ready to go. Deamon is compiled but it will not connect to the network. Troubleshooting now. The pool will be a DDOS protected high performance pool with a 1% fee. Will post when ready.

Thanks.

Try to reset the PC and re-download the wallet. I have 14 active connections to the network right now.

How hard would it be to implement KGW or DGW on the coin?  That way the DIFF will adjust with the hashrate.
