Is the paper wallet those things that people can scan with smartphones? I think it'd be better to up the bounty for the Android wallet to get that out. A ton of people use Android and if we can get some of them to use California Coin that will be amazing news for the community!

How to get the linux daemon working:

Fresh download

wget Source from op

or

git clone git address

Then

cd src/leveldb

chmod +x build_detect_platform

cd ..

Then

Nano main.cpp

Change these lines (Thank you minermoon) Use ctrl+w to find these lines:

thats one thing u can do with em, but mainly the idea of a paper wallet is securing your coins. Most paper wallet generators allow you to download them and run them offline so that your public / private key never ever hit a live computer. Send all your coins to a offline paper waller and you dont have to worry about getting hacked or loosing your cash. When your ready to spend you bring em online by adding a wallet via android wallet app possibly or just scanning with a webcam and copying the code to import into a wallet thats online.

Actually you're wrong. This coin was set to have a 4.5% pre-mine but it looks like it'll be a little bit less now that the popularity is taking off. Also other coins have 10% premines or 50% while we are a fraction of that.
