the coins were gone before I deleted it....

edit: oh well... doesnt seem like we'll ever know what happened to the vanishing coins, guess I could have lost more like others...

You were probably on a mini-fork, when you synchronize again with the network your coins just disappear cause they don't exist on the "right fork"

Same here, I'm reloading the blockchain (AGAIN).  Waiting, getting no source block right now.

I'm confused...are GPU's on this already? If so should I just stop using my CPU's?
Grin GPU have been on it since the beginning (hence the instamine).
You just have to add to the coin.conf server=1 and you can use your gpu

but I stopped, got tired after 6.6 millions...

do u just point your gpu to ur local host? and what about worker and pass? not needed i take it?

Agree how do we do this?
for like any other coin you solo mine...
here the config I use:

addnode=54.194.99.126
addnode=54.194.99.126:11061
daemon=1
listen=1
server=1
rpcuser=dom
rpcpassword=FHsw5mQzXoe4rryw1AxSBGoP7r2HMnsrUv
rpcallowip=*
rpcport=7887

the confusion, I didn't know if I had to keep the name of the file as coin.conf or californiacoin.conf
so I duplicate the files just to be sure
in that case you point your miner to 127.0.0.1:7887

Unconfirmed - generated but not accepted.

What is that?

Thanks blinkxzero!

So what is this saying:

{
"blocks" : 4133,
"currentblocksize" : 1000,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"difficulty" : 0.03091740,
"errors" : "",
"generate" : true,
"genproclimit" : -1,
"hashespersec" : 1521,
"networkhashps" : 19399546,
"pooledtx" : 0,
"testnet" : false
}

"blocks" = current block number
difficulty = current difficulty (see the chart someone made earlier to determine your average block time)
generate : true = you are mining with your CPU
hashespersec = your current hashes per second on CPU, you are at 1.5 KH/s (very low)
networkhashps = the total hashes per second on the entire network. I.e. everyone's total hashes combined.

The rest you can ignore for now Wink

Unconfirmed - generated but not accepted.

What is that?

You got an orphan -- meaning someone else found the block and submitted it faster than it took you to mine the block and submit it (even though you ALSO mined the block, just too slow)

That's my understanding at least. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
