Was surprised that Iran and Nigeria went 90 minutes with a 0 to 0
And then the surprise attack by Ghana to tie and the US interception to make it 2 to 1 with the game in the final minutes is something else

USA defense was phenomenal today. They deserve that win. Ghana was attacking 24/7 but they just couldn't break that solid defense. In other news, I lost all my bets today! Haha  |

And Americans don't play very aggressively at all, so if they do let in a goal or two, I doubt they will be able to respond. My bet would be on Portugal in that matchup. Americans are not a bad team, and their defense in particular is very good. But their offense is almost non-existent. |

after 4vs0 and red cards, Portugal can be a negative surprise and lose. I don't dare to make bets on that.
Any expected surprise for today's games? For me Russia, Brazil and Belgium will be the winners, no draws and lots of goals, specially in Brazil and Belgium matches

The Iran vs Nigeria match was one of the most boring matches I have ever watched in my life. And as expected, it ended in a goal-less draw. Both teams will be out of this world cup after the group matches. |

I honestly looked down for 2 seconds into that 45 second game and heard goal. Great job on the US today.
Unfortunately I missed the Germany/Portugal game. Sucks because I'm rooting for Germany but I was happy to hear they won.
