As I said: Lack of transparency => inside information => little games behind the scenes => coin looks more and more like a shitcoin.
I think I've made my point clear. This strategy won't get this coin anywhere, apart from making it an excellent way for some people to make easy money. What happened today is a clear example of what I am talking about.
I'll be watching from a distance. Nothing more to add to this discussion.
I keep reading what you write and I'm trying to figure out if you're trolling or actually believe what you're saying. If you're trolling, you're doing a great job. If you're not trolling, I can't see how you can actually feel the way you do. The price has been insanely oversold for what this coin offers. The price has fallen under 13k satoshis when it hasn't been under 13k satoshis since April 15th and that didn't even last a day. There's way too much going for this coin for that fall to have lasted. As an investor, it would have been stupid to sell at this levels but a very smart decision to buy. I'm sure I wasn't the only one loading up the past few hours in the low 13s or below. I'm small time and I saw the opportunity for huge gains. People with 100s of btc to throw around looking to put out feelers could easily buy a couple btc worth of BC and be risking almost none of their portfolio value. With BlackHalo and Blackwave Labs doing everything they've been working on, it made no sense for BC to be as low as it has been. As far as transparency...I saw a decent sized sell order at 13.5k satoshis right after twitter started lighting up with links to the blackcoin.co page talking about Bittrex pairings. I barely got any of it before other people bought it out. I'm always seeing stuff on blkfeed.com, the Blackcoin subreddit, blackcointalk.com and Twitter when I'm looking for info on Blackcoin. I notice this thread has a lot less exposure than a lot of the pump and dump shitcoins but maybe that's a good thing. You say stuff about the devs not trying to talk people up when the price is dropping but every single scamcoin talks up their tanking prices until the scammers have finished unloading their positions. When people are innovating and working on adding to the Blackcoin economy instead of spending all their time marketing features that aren't even out, that's a good thing, not a scam. I've seen plenty of talk about features and progress and very little talk about pumping the price. That's what matters. I feel like I've already justified your trolling too much with this post so I'll end it there. If you're trolling, you're pretty good. If you're serious, well, you must not be paying enough attention. |

My real problem is not the low price. It's the weird strategy that is being used, which leads to unexplained price drops.
Tell me who is responsible for BC price ? Name me DEV who is responsible? : ) ________________________________________________________________________ My strategy is hold for long time year two and observe community if it is active and creative. And try help donate, do some creative job too. ... Price is not Dev responsibility but community. Dev responsibility is to keep coin safe or make it protocol better. BC centric markets will allow arbitrage between exchanges. It will be very healthy for our ecosystem. Besides, it is something fresh. New standards can be set and this shows we are growing. |

If we get several exchanges to create BC pairings, Blackcoin can be the "bitcoin" of altcoins. Anyone wanting to trade in alt-world gets btc or bc. Bc superior in speed for arbitrage though and has paid interest if kept in wallet staking etc. So we should all push for this AND use the BC centric markets |

I have seen a few people mention a BC centric exchange. That is why I asked about multisignature support earlier. jl777 has created Multigateway (MGW) that allows Nxt/ other coin pairs. Knowing he wouldn't have the time or resources to support the requests from all the other coins to be added, he has released Universal Multigateway (uMGW) for other crypto communities to make use of. What this means is that Blackcoin can set up an almost decentralised Multigateway of its own that supports any BC/ other coin pairs that the community wants. Rather than using Mintpal/Bittrex, you just need 3 trusted members to run the 3 uMGW servers. None will have the power to run with the deposits as a centralised exchange could, they would all have to collude together (hence almost decentralised). price is still very low, 0,10$ is like slap in the face. Below 0,15$ is very very low  But good info and good and solid developement is on its way, innovative projects are on their way, completed more and more every day. I hope we gonna see old levels (0,25-0,35$) soon |

Don't wary bittrex is getting Mintpal volume over time and all changes are we need to start from little steps why not. Experiment between bittrex and BC exchange can be great to be fair. If succeed oh... god. BC=LTC market cap - that is a dream today but... you won't never know. I have just like that to all morons who are thinking in month time frame... People can BS on BC but facts and works will defend it self. If they are smart people they will accumulate BC idiots will dump but there will be justice at some point - mark my words here... Happy to see the price above 16K again !
Still way too low, but at least it's moving in the right direction again.
Two questions/ ideas:
- Are there any plans for a mobile version of the BC wallet with staking functionality ?
For some reason, not a single POS altcoin seems to have a fully functioning mobile wallet as of yet.
I think this would really help BC gain no.1 position over other altcoins.
As an Iphone user, having a mobile wallet with staking functionality would definately make me fully commited to whatever coin develops it first.
Since I really believe in BC, I hope BC will be first !
- As a Dutch user, I always buy my BTC through a site (Bitonic.nl) that offers BTC to be directly paid online through my bankaccount. This system is called IDEAL. To me it seems that this is not a really complicated website to built for some who knows what they're doing.
For some reason though, this still only exists for BTC and I think creating a similar site for BC would be a guaranteed succes for both the manager of the site, as well as for BC, because it can then be directly bought with EU. (at least in the Netherlands)
Just wanted to share this and maybe someone can enlighten me on the first point.
Really hope BC is developing an IOS wallet !
