Man this stuff looks really good, plus the community behind the coin is strong and i could tell everyone is really buying into it. Very excited to see where this goes. Remember good development take a lot of time halo is eg. 6 months project. Same BC ATMs - we can not build empire in one night to be honest price can go up and down but good coin POS2.0 - few months of work ( few thousands C++ code lines )... Same goes to other projects people are developing in free time at least most of them maybe those who invested a lot not. After 5 months when dust fall you see who is right who wanted just PnD coin and leave... There won't never perfect harmony in any coin where are money there are problem this is sure. On way top we can face many problems and "disasters"... And to be honest falling price is not Dev fault but holders if they want sell they will sell, Good devs just give us secure currency free from bugs. Price is creating by community and business around coin - this is not Dev part. To make some analogy: people should write petition to BTC,LTC,PPC devs and blame them because price of their coins constantly falls... This is the same of blaming Devs of any shit coin (but not premine or IPO - then you should blame DEVs )

Is there some reason we need to be storing BC on Bittrex. I setup an account there anyway.
I quadrupled my BC on recent lows and the staking time has doubled and its not done any staking since the start of the month. Should I start it over again (1.1.0.1)

How many coins you have ? ( i think you had bad luck - when POS 2.0 comes in stacking will be easier course online coins will get only coin age. ) I think we should make raspberry pi 3W/h devices for staking on password protected wallets. 24/7 3 W/H energy cost in year 1$ and you will able able stake ofc more coins. Storing all coin on exchanges is risky but if you play PnD with BTC on bittrex you should do it the same with BC to create more BC volume there. PS: My brother wallet 300 BC staked 10 day ago.

Don't store your coin on exchange unless you are trading them.

OK I never post in bitcointalk, but read along and am a long-term holder of black and last few weeks have been buying more and more As far as I can see it it it seems that several larger holders have been stacking up on BC. (i.e. high sell pressure with nice large dumps (and buys). All the sellwalls are accompanied by reasonably large buy orders. Even now it seemed someone was/is trying to get more cheap BC.... -> take advantage of it as long as it lasts... sooner or later the sell pressure is removed and with support from larger holders we go to where we should be with this awesome coin... Cheers

- BC developers refuse to give ETAs for the common pump and dump schemes.
I'm not gonna go into this discussion again, but I find it very funny when people in here say ' we don't give ETAs to avoid P&D action'. Just take a look at the graph. The worst kind of P&D action has taken place without an ETA, but instead with a sudden announcement. Also, there is no such a thing as ' no ETA'. There is always an ETA. It's just who knows about it. Just take a look at the graph during the last 24h. There was a pump, there were large buys before the pump. No rocket science to figure out what's going on. What could possibly be worse than that if there was an ETA, apart from those in the know not making any profit? Anyway, I just wanted to point that one out. Pointless to start yet another discussion. Have fun. Dude, I couldn't care less if there was 'insider trading' as you keep suggesting in your ongoing narrative. This is not a registered company.. or industry for that matter; and whether it happens or not is irrelevant. Deal with it. The amount of effort some people have given to this coin is monumental. Instead of whining I suggest you either donate to help your coins value or STFU.

Man this stuff looks really good, plus the community behind the coin is strong and i could tell everyone is really buying into it. Very excited to see where this goes. What could we have done to reach out to people like you earlier? Well my first experience with the altcoin world i would always come on to BTC talk trying to find the most "popular" or "hot" coin at the time foolishly thinking it would make me rich over night. Naturally whatever thread i would see on the first page, or whichever coin had alot of active posts was a coin to be in position on. I would also look on to trading sites like bittrex and cryptsy to see what had the biggest rise in fluctuations, or new coins that were yet to rise. Also because i was a miner on a small budget i could only afford GPU's so i would only look at x11 or newer coins, and totally ignored scrypt and SHA-256 coins because it was being dominated by ASIC. My mistake was thinking this game would make me rich over night and ignored blackcoin because it was already established at the time. I think that is the mistake alot of noobies and people like myself make early on is that we look for PnD potential, instead of what a coin actually has to offer. Another thing is maybe the title of the thread has alot to do with it, naturally it is the first thing we see that grabs our attention. Maybe if the title had more attractive words it would have drawn me into the thread sooner. Big keywords for me at the time were things like "Anon" or "Rare", and would also look at the Algo and naturally stay away from anything that said "Scrypt" or "SHA-256". Naturally i would be attracted to newer algos like x11, or x13. Again those are more mistakes of my own and probably other noobies as well than it would have to do with PR of this coin itself. just my thoughts

Staking times will now be much more random with PoS 2.0, but the longer it takes the bigger the reward will be when it happens. You shouldn't be 'storing' coins on any exchange unless they're crap coins that are looking for a pump (before you dump 100% of them). I always keep about 5-10% of my coins either on an exchange or in a separate wallet (when not actively trading), while the bulk of my BC sits safely on a separate dedicated machine.

Yep.. it's just that if we trade, we can trade at Bittrex because we want some liquidity there.. Which will be good for BC pairs kickoff

Yep.. it's just that if we trade, we can trade at Bittrex because we want some liquidity there.. Which will be good for BC pairs kickoff Yeah, I always try to keep around 5-10K BC 'in motion' (regardless of the fact that often my profits aren't much bigger than the commission) purely for the sake of liquidity in the market. A stagnant market is much worse than an active falling one IMO - with the obvious exception of someone looking to cash out completely - because even if it's stable in price, if the volume is not there, it's a dead coin. I think most people don't really understand that. If the lowest ask on the market is a price of .1 BTC per BC, but there's no buy orders at all... you could say that ~17K BC are 'worth' $1M US (and you would be 'right' technically)... but it won't matter because there's no one to sell them to at that price (so you would be equally correct in saying it was completely *worthless*).

So, could anyone more experienced share a progress report on whether this exodus of blackcoin to bittrex for the pairings is happening as quickly/stably as it should?
I've only been in crypto a few months, so I don't trust myself. But it seems to have crawled up to 70 btc last night, but then stalled around 50 this morning. (Should I have been watching the BC vol, in the first place?) Point is: are there any thoughts on how possible it is that BC won't provide enough vol/liquidity for a new market?
I know in the end it's up to the them to decide... but I'm interested in the community's thoughts on whether this pairing experiment is actually going to work out.

Bittrex are just trying to kill Mintpal (big volume on mintpal for BC). That's why they want to offer BC market on Bittrex. It's simply a question of business My2c

But we all know that a "question of business" is subject to question... This move BC and Bittrex are making could go wrong, correct? What if/how might/are there signs... they will fail? I'm only asking as an investor.
