If all goes well, and you give it a try you'll quickly realize we are a better exchange than MintPal. Hopefully the free trade rates will encourage you to at least give us a try.
We have launch our beta with a fully functioning API, we will release our open source trading bot for everyone to build on (and multipools to use). We can handle large very trade volumes with our new backend (being tested now with bots). The bot will come ready to connect and pull real time data from our API as well as other information information, and come stock with very basic trading strategies.
On the frontend we have made a good looking real-time live exchange page. The infrastructure we invested in allows us to show more orderbook data than MintPal offers. We also don't require javascript to make issue trades, which lets you trade quicker on slower connections.
We won't be adding flavor of the week clone coins to our exchange, we will focus on coins that add true innovation to the crypto ecosystem and maintain good trading volumes. We felt MintPal practice of ninja adding several direct clone coins of Blackcoin after BC succeeded did a lot of damage to our value for their own profit. We want to provide a quality exchange and we will select quality coins to be traded on it.
We have two market sections: The Bitcoin section which only features Blackcoin exchange currently, this is to make the transition to our exchange easier, providing values of 1 Blackcoin in Bitcoin as it is on other exchanges. The Blackcoin section currently allows you to trade against Litecoin and Darkcoin. We will be adding more as we progress through our beta mode but we want to make sure we maintain good volume on our initial exchanges so everyone can get a feel for how our system works.
On top of that we plan to reinvest our profit back into Blackcoin providing additional stability to the price, like an additional multipool. We will be transparent with our profit and how it is invested. As I said in previous announcements, I have been saving substantial bitcoins to purchase Blackcoins on my exchange.
We will provide proof of our reserves and work with the community to be transparent as possible. We have built sophisticated cold wallet storage to safely store any coin reserve that becomes too large.
And we have a great name (to be revealed with our beta launch).

Army of bagholders I salute you! Soon this precious diamond shall shine!  Bagholders has such a negative connotation.  Today has been good so far. The 12K floor is holding. On MintPal, we're the only coin with +% change. Still the #1 PoSI coin.

PoSI - Point of Stake Inflation so this excludes NXT since it's not inflationary and PCC because that's hybrid. I came up with the term myself because I was tired of constantly arguing over #1 PoS* or writing 2-3 paragraphs why we're #1 in this category. |

we should try to produce a bunch of really really bad news, maybe that will have the same paradox effect as all the good news   Getting better and better all the time, but once every day somebody presses the price down with a single dump... and interesting enough almost exactly the same "level" (1200-1500 SAT) each time, and then the stupid bots resume their "cheating" on that new lower level... |

Well, many things are coming together at once. In the interests of the desired "marketing push" and to allow some projects to be finalised and polished things are and have been quiet.
However, all that's due to change.
We have a new an very awesome platform BLKFeed.com, we have coinkites out in the wild doing coinkite stuff and we will have all manner of promo stuff to support that, international deployments of handsets and more. I am also in discussions with a number of platform providers to get BC on their software systems and hardware offerings whether they are ATM or handset, and there's a number of handsets due.
Some of the finest bodies in their respective fields are working to make this happen.
It all takes time and the lesson learned, among the many I might add, is that none of this is possible in the usual lifecycle of your average Alt coin. The attention span of your average "investor" is very small and if you haven't "beaten" Bitcoin by the end of 6-8 weeks you're toast in the eyes of these people irrespective of what it is you have as a "feature".
A few coins are different and as such thrive. BC is a great example of that but then as the root for the vast majority of the forks it's no surprise and it's also a hint for the future..... BC isn't going away, rat4 isn't going to stop developing the BC blockchain experiment, it's the first of it's type, he leads the field.... why give up? Think on this carefully when you think about the future of BC.
Therefore the future is about the required patience AND hard work to fulfill in months what it has taken bitcoin years to achieve.... adoption. We stand on the shoulders of giants let us not forget, but at the same time reach for our own stars!
BY networking, presenting, meeting, talking, engaging and so much much more, all working towards the same goals of BlackCoin adoption and mainstream usage we try to make this dream come to life.
We have a new Meet Black due out soon as well to update on where we are and where we will be going. There's other changes afoot too so watch out for those...

7000years, you must like Blackcoin a lot, what an exercise writing here almost everyday against Blackcoin. I just can say that you can think whatever you want, but with this kinds of developments going on is matter of time and releases that the price and value of Blackcoin increases.
