Ok, I reinstalled v 1.2 i opted NOT to do the boot strap thing, and it loaded @ is now synced. My walled.dat is in the appdata directory, but my coins are not valid? I bought these on an exchange. Pls some one assist me. Im not going on IRC because hackers & criminals can see my IP address there.

it may take a little while but your coins associated with this key will come back, if you didn't get them from a fork around the time of launch
you can check debug.log for status of import

My debug file is monsterous in size, some one a day or so ago wanted me to send it in to help the team figure it out, if you look a page or two back I did that.. on V1.02 I think. Lemme see if I can figure out what the debug file says, im ot a coder or guru, so I have no idea what 1/2 of this means. Been runing the importprivkey command via console for 25 minutes so far.. nothing has happened.. ill let it keep going or restart wallet? |

Im closing in on the one hour mark.. nothings happened..should I try and restart the wallet? Is it possible that guy that requested my log file some how snagged my coins, I thought he was part of the team.. I'm so confused  |

Ok, good to know.. well I took a chance.. I closed the wallet, deleted my 6MB log file.. restarted wallet, re opened console & ran the command again.. I HAVE my coins.. EUREKA! Again, im sorry for taking up so much space here, but im new, and not a pro @ this at all. When I mouse hover over the lil blue icon in bottom right corner of wallet it says im staking & 23 hrs to earn interest, so looks like I'm all sorted out now.. whew! Wallet has been running in sync for 16 Hours.
Do not forget to update to ver 1.2.3 at vericoin.info
Short time ago I had around 30 interest payments come into my wallet
They were dated all the way back to 15 May.
Went to IRC pnosker, a developer, checked it out
I been on some forks and lost coins earlier in my VeriCoin history. This means while I was on the wrong fork other coins where on the correct fork and I'm getting the interest Now,
