this rally was a long time coming tbh. I'd be selling right around now though if it wasnt for the news which makes me want to hold instead. Should have no problem testing 14k sat highs. in the coming days. |

this rally was a long time coming tbh. I'd be selling right around now though if it wasnt for the news which makes me want to hold instead. Should have no problem testing 14k sat highs. in the coming days. A lot of long term holders are talking about 100k sats  |

Can someone here explain to noobs what Verium is. (i know, but its not that easy to "highlight" Point out highlights.But not so sure on the less coin = better, looks at hte coin supply of Ethereum, lisk, waves, it seems these days Bigger is Better. If i was doig this, i would of had a bigger supply, gone are the days when low supply meant more valuable. regarding price, if VRC breaks the walls up to 16/17k... it would be easy to go to 25k (32btc give or take from 16,500 to 25k) and the fomo would eat the price up to 25k alone. |

You shouldn't even worry about price increases, just make sure you own the amount you can afford to own. Price increase is imminent. There's probably gonna be quite a few retracements though as people who've been holding for a few months want to get out on the rallies. Depending on that amount I think we might hit 2016 highs already within 7-10 days. 3 weeks at most. Prepare for Vericoin to feel like a roller coaster in the veri near future, we all know when a coin gets popular it draws attentions of people with their bots and people who think some of these increases are fake and so dump thinking the coin is going to drop back down and they can pick it back up when cheap, don't be part of the short term fluctuations, if you grab some cheap coin, get a wallet, start staking now, see a real investment in a long term coin happen. This is not some new coin going for ICO money and running after months of fake news, 2 years track record with a solid userbase throughout, even the haters of this coin have usually turned around on it, no scam coins here, just only invest what you can afford to lose though. |

1. What percentage of the VRM supply will be available for ICO? Still determining this based on mining requirements etc. 2. What will the ICO funds be used for? The funds will largely be saved for long term usage on likely infrastructure, development, projects and collaborations. All usage of funds will be publicly and transparently voted for by the core community at vericoinforums.com, which anyone can be a member of. There are some post requirements and such for voting though. 3. And what is the incentive for people taking part in the ICO? The ICO will likely be a first come, first serve tiered discount (probably starting at 40% discount) on what we estimate the value of Verium to be based on the 10x lower total supply ratio with VeriCoin and it's price at the time of the ICO. Thanks for replying. I was wondering since Verium will use a new blockchain and new algo, if it would have been possible to implement high level of anonymity there? It's probably much easier then implementing that on the existing Vericoin blockchain? Then people will have even more incentive mining and buying Verium from ICO. We can use Vericoin as fast paced ecommerce currency while Verium can be used for large anon transactions. I believe it fits your existing concept very well. Please give it some consideration if it is not too late. Interesting idea. I have been working on a clean decentralized anonymous technology somewhat similar to a "stealth username" which would combine both anonymity with intuitive username sending. I still have a fair bit of work left do on it but it should work well when complete. It was my intention to add that to the Vericoin blockchain or both Verium and Vericoin. Adding only to Verium is an interesting idea though too. It will not be complete by Verium release because Verium is a new PoW protocol which itself requires quite a bit of coding and testing. After Verium is stable though I will resume work on stealth usernames and decide what makes the most sense for implementation. I also have some other related interesting ideas about what can be done across two separate blockchains that may end up being part of it. Adding anon transaction to Verium would be great! |
