FYI effectstoarchcoin will close this thread by the weekend they want to control the message and seem noble as they accept money to help other coins. They will string along looking like good guys telling the people to wait while they collect funds for other coins in the name of help and to promote the crypto community. It's bull shit in my opinion they have given up on this coin and are using it to make money off of other coins. I'm praying that a whale pumps it up so I can get out even. This in my opinion is a front for a scam. They sold their souls to archcoin and crediailty is all gone.
as much as i respect the devs, i don't get it why they spent time on another coin.. i do hope it will pay for vericoin ok everyone buy again lol so james or btcarchitect bought VRC and dumped it.. to further their own coin? perhaps? Make any excuse you will, the problem of price does not stem from a "bear market" though it makes a convenient scapegoat. The bear market in vericoin price comes from 1 promise after another being 1 of 2 things, non existant, or released without much fanfair. That is why vericoin is going down in price, not because of a "bear market". The developers are disgracefully inept to be in charge of anything relating to financial matters. The choices made by this dev team solely have killed this coin. The community was willing to support many hard initiatives, but the devs chose the easy way out every damn time. No more jl777 effect, well thats fine, come out and blame the "bear market", Funny how when james was pumping his promises VeriCoin was able to advance in the face of such adverse markets. Something smells bad here. But I think by now the smart investors have already exited left. The only people left are a few puppets, and the puppet masters. |

Hey guys! Although there is some merit to some of AltCoinUK's concerns... his delivery completely overrides his message IMO. Implementing an idea is infinitely more difficult than simply dreaming one up. We're in a Bear Market - everyone's down. Even BitCoin. Doug and Pat fixed some issues regarding the Variable Interest with ArchCoin. The Devs Edgar had couldn't get it done so he asked VeriCoin give him a hand. They've already fixed a majority of it and are now simply tweaking the GUI etc. As far as VeriCoin goes... Pat is working with James regarding VeriCoin's role within the SuperNET core. DeCentralized Cloud Storage is great for numerous reasons including revenue. That is just one feature. On the mainstream side of things... Doug is working on VeriCoin's current PoS protocol in a major, major way. Aside from that... we are in talks with someone who is held in high regard in this space. The recent FinCen ruling has thrown Digital Currency for a loop - as a whole. The SuperNET will take lots of time to implement. Protocol changes will take lots of time to implement. These are long term endeavors that we hope will put VeriCoin in great positioning for the next Bull Market. And when I say long term I mean... 6 months to a year. Give or take. Look... we know it's not easy for everyone right now. It's not easy for me. It's not easy for Pat or Doug. We're all "down". But we're still here and we hope that you'll join us on this long term journey - if not... we completely understand. We are also all for constructive criticism but when that criticism comes along with insults and unfounded conspiracy theories... it doesn't do anyone any good. Hey Arsene! No I have no idea who Alex/Ryan is or if he does have 4M $VRC. This is the first I've heard of it.
The dude that mentioned that he sold was absolutely not related at all to that guy.
Yes - VeriBit will be tricky now due to FinCen. We are going to be figuring this out if we can.
We recognize now that in order to find success... there will HAVE to be some regulation involved.
This isn't easy to do though.

People sell their VeriCoin because a) there is no innovation, and therefore Vericoin is just one of the 500+ BTC/LTC clones b) investors feel the developers abandoned the coin by working on other projects c) there were too many empty promises and the enough is enough That's why the price is 4.9K and there is zero chance to turn this ship around. |
