One news item is the increased price today, but what is the news that caused the price change?!
I'm expecting some news or ANN, but haven't seen anything sofar?!! I will promote, but not sure what we can promote more then yesterday?!!
YoungWebs, I just noticed that the 10.65 M unconfirmed shares in my x11sync account were removed. I assume so you can pay me finally. Will you be paying me with SYNC bought at todays prices or with prices that SYNC was at 5 days ago when these shares got stuck? Please consider your answer carefully.... I always do my post very carefully.. You guys are a delicate species.. We are processing payouts tonight, and as usual you get paid what you mined. To clarify this is what happens in a shift: - New shift starts automatic, when old one ends
- We move alle shares to a shift table, which holds all submitted shares for the just ended round
- At this moment all counters of personal stats should reset (this is not always working 100%, but these are take from a stats dbase and not from round shares...
- During the new started shift, blocks are found and coins received in the pool walets, these balances are send automated to exchanges every 2 hours and trades are being made,t hus generating BTC's
- These BTC's are traded for sync with buy orders. (we do not buy the sell prices!) and thes orders are mostly filled within minutes/hours
- This step is repeated as said every 2 hours, till we end a shift and all is repeated...
- At the end of shift (like) now) we take all submitted shares and final bits and pieces are traded against buy/sell prices whatever is applicable and we can enter the total gained sync in the payout script.
- The payout scripts takes per mining address the number of submitted valid shares, and compares this to total number of shares resulting in a % (listed in 8 decimals)
- if we have mined 1 SYNC in total, you will get your % of shares submitted from this 1 SYNC (proportional payouts)
This means we buy more or less the avg price over the last 48 hours. With regards to your non-confirmed shares as reported before, this is a current bug (partially fixed) and those shares have been already days ago. Hope this all makes sense to you.. and still THIS IS REALLY NORMAL for every multipool - so no reason to argue about - i dont understand sentences like: be careful what you said or Please consider your answer carefully.... are we childs? can we think about how a pool is going ? do Young find the syncs under the carpet or what ? shame on you - first think then ask - not vice versa i have promoted the pool right from the beginning whith 100s of mh/s (and not in x11 - in scrypt) - its for the coin AND for my wallet - so im a Piece of this holy shit - stop greining and wait til the payout i cannot believe its true People here dont no a Piece of that and threaten People - thats the way it sounds - go make it better then you dont have to argue with a pool i often go 2ways - mining for pool and for myself - and buying with the hashes i produced otherways

"With regards to your non-confirmed shares as reported before, this is a current bug (partially fixed) and those shares have been already days ago. "
They have already what days ago?
If you say paid then you are caught because i had 2.5 M of the then 13.15 M unconfirmed shares confirm. This happened 3 days ago and paid out something like .017 SYNC. These other 10.65 have been just sitting there for a total of 5 days. Earlier this afternoon they disappeared and then magically since i requested clarification on the issue they are all back in unconfirmed again.
How do you explain that?
And can i have a straight answerr on whether or not i will be paid todays price or 5 day ago price for these 10.65 M shares?
Thank you.

MULTIPOOL ALERT: Please make sure you mine with correct address: multipool@server1:~$ Syncd sendtoaddress SU6aC2zDHZBht6kniLyXrNt8yxCd**** 0.0098281 error: {"code":-5,"message":"Invalid Sync address"} If the real owner (by supplying the full miner address, through a pm to me) can submit a valid SYNC address we can still payout to this miner! Please make sure you always mine with a valid wallet address on the SYNC multipool! http://sync.multipoolmining.com/getting_started

Shares have been paid days is what it should say. As mentioned many times before, there is a weird bug in the stats, that does show unconfirmed shares from time to time. It will be fixed when it is fixed! Due to nature of wallets, and set-up of multipool there is no way to hold back partial shares/payouts. Depending on when you mined those unconfirmed shares they have been paid a while ago, or are paid today. (But i remember the same question from you of about 2 weeks ago?!) We pay out all mined blocks within a certain shifts, and revenues are divided by all submitted valid shares. If they are confirmed/unconfirmed in stats doesn't matter for your payouts! I only can sorry for the incorrect stats. No need to bring those up and up again, it will be fixed when it is fixed, most likely after the summer holidays in europe (september)

Ok, I have a weird bug. I had a small amount of sync in my wallet from some time ago, and had frankly forgotten about it. Not heavily invested in the coin. In the early days, I saw troubles that were eventually resolved, and I bailed for the most part. I'm not unhappy with that decision. I profited pretty well on the POW phase, and I used those profits to my advantage. I'm still pretty agnostic on the future of this coin, but it appears y'all are doing a good job. Much better than I expected, to be honest. In light of that, I opened up my sync wallet and found it not empty. I went ahead and compiled the latest wallet release, copied wallet.dat over, and I continually get an error about the database being corrupt, with the instruction to delete everything but wallet.dat and try again. I did that. Same result. I copied in a new .conf file based off of the ones posted in the thread. Same error. I removed the old wallet.dat file and it starts syncing without issue. So, at the command line I've run both -repairwallet and -salvagewallet. No effect, same error. This is under ubuntu 14.04 LTS desktop. Without a config file I get no connections, but this error doesn't even get that far. It's upon opening the wallet. I do have a back up of the old wallet and older client on my windows laptop, which I'm about to boot up and sync. But I'd like a way to solve this. Any clues, advice, abuse?

Yes, of course that would work. I'm more interested in repairing it if possible.
