So if you have 1.1 or 1.0.3 all is well, but anything else needs to update, correct?

both working - one is beta one (1.0.3.0) is the final - the Versionnr is irrelevant for the fork - thats whats IN the wallet is relevant

And if you are so concerned, make a pull request and fix the version number on github.

Many many people decide that update is not nessasry becase own version of wallet is higher than current on main page.
That what i am talking about.
The stupiest mistake with version number cause BIG problems with staking.

I'm worried about this; 18 minutes and only old version gets blocks. That means majority of the coins are on old wallets. We might be forced to downgrade and postpone the interest halving.
Anyone seen Mscollec?

https://github.com/MsCollec/sync/blob/6c5ba36f28d7842b0b78f497ab95ef57ab15154b/src/clientversion.h

i suggest just update the file and put out a new version to make everyone happy.

nite NO rollback please at this time - just wait - if the fork appears with the new block the others HAVE to update or get orphans

The reason why we stuck is low number of NEW wallets but high difficulty. Current number of NEW wallets cant find block fast while diff is high. As soon we find block diff will retarget and blocks start to find in normal speed

the wallet is staking - this process keeps the chain going - and while not all have updated it took longer - ist normal while a few are missing - at this Point the new wallet brings the block to an end - the missing wallet HAVE TO update or they are on the wrong fork - staking with 100% - worth ? nothing while on the wrong fork then

so calm down and wait

Yes, I don't like it either, but we might be forced to do that. The height of the old chain is already 86441 blocks.
