What you can do is:

1) Close the wallet.
2) Delete everything within Appdata/Casinocoin, but not wallet.dat + casinocoin.conf (make a copy of wallet.dat also, save it elsewhere). Let the original wallet.dat stay in the Appdata/Casinocoin directory!
3) Restart the wallet

Then you reload the blockchain. It has stuck only on your computer I guess, so after reloading the blockchain it would be ok again, I think.

What I find odd with this client is I can finally get a wallet to sync and copy over all the files to another machine and the client will maybe sync (I say maybe cos it doesn't always work) but then get out of sync again a short time later

Have you done this yet?

1) Close the wallet.
2) Go to Appdata/Casinocoin, can be found...... C:/user/Appdata/Roaming/Casinocoin (Appdata directory can be hidden, so go to Mapoptions in Windows to make all maps to unhide)
3) Delete everything within Appdata/Casinocoin, but not wallet.dat + casinocoin.conf (make a copy of wallet.dat also, save it elsewhere). Let the original wallet.dat stay in the Appdata/Casinocoin directory!
4) Restart the wallet

If you don't have a casinocoin.conf yet:

Make a file in a texteditor and save it as casinocoin.conf. Put in the text below in this post.
(Remember Windows 7 can save it as casinocoin.conf.txt, then remove txt in the extension.)

Place it in C:/user/Appdata/Roaming/Casinocoin

Some of these clients have 10+ connections to the network and one minute its sync'ed and a few hours later its not. Something's fucked & if this coin's ever going to go anywhere the wallet/chain needs fixing.

The Reindexing worked for me, all updated and current. I was very happy, until I got home onto my crappy wireless internet and loaded the wallet - 43 weeks behind again - being the knobhead I am I forgot to remove reindex=1 from the config.

I've given myself an uppercut and will have to resync AGAIN!

I think it is due to installing on different computers maybe? I had that once with another coin, when I got a new computer. I had sent coins from the old computer to the new one with a new wallet address on the new computer. Had syncing problems after that, don't know why.

Or maybe you have some nodes from the old chain still connected?

No probs. Been a 'hero' member for some time actually. If you were here back then when I got my title you would have realised. But meh..it was a long time ago (when u could mine 0.5BTC/day with a 6950) & I digress...lol

So far the reindex=1 has (for now) fixed one client. Though I suspect this is no different to a complete fresh reinstall. I wont close the client as it will likely fail to resync..

As I said, this coin wallet has issues, and on several machines...none of my other coin client's do (which I coincidentally also run on several machines). It needs fixing.

Just updated the list at the first page of this thread, theres quite a few pools right now! Only two pushpools (mpos) but hoping more will hop back aboard soon!

I guess we can still use the seeds but it is not mandatory since there is quite a few active nodes.

If your having trouble syncing the wallet or it's stuck on 0 hours behind it could be isolated to just your PC as my laptop is still doing the same(old, no updates in awhile) it will stay synced then go unsynced etc. Where as the computer im on is fine and has 13 connections atm.

If megamineros could please address the issue with unlocking / email verification haven't been able to set a withdraw address yet as it will time out, not send the email, or say it has sent it!

Edit: Can anyone setup a abe block explorer? I can provide the hosting / environment for it.

Now 37. Seed nodes would be advisable as I'm sure the ones hard coded into the wallet are on the old version and perhaps the cause for some of the sync issues.

Also, I have 35 connections on the wallet. All on 1.2! Haven't re-compiled to include the patch to disconnect older clients so it's looking good.

Just updated the list at the first page of this thread, theres quite a few pools right now! Only two pushpools (mpos) but hoping more will hop back aboard soon!
Highest ive seen is 25 active connections on my wallet, have you added anymore nodes?

I guess we can still use the seeds but it is not mandatory since there is quite a few active nodes.

If your having trouble syncing the wallet or it's stuck on 0 hours behind it could be isolated to just your PC as my laptop is still doing the same(old, no updates in awhile) it will stay synced then go unsynced etc. Where as the computer im on is fine and has 13 connections atm.

If megamineros could please address the issue with unlocking / email verification haven't been able to set a withdraw address yet as it will time out, not send the email, or say it has sent it!

Edit: Can anyone setup a abe block explorer? I can provide the hosting / environment for it.
