About the subsidy, we shouldn't increase that too much as that will lead to the same inflationary problems of fiat and will have a downward pressure on the price as miners dump more coins than they are now.

The reduction in max coins however will have an instant effect on the price and shareholder value.

These coin reduction tactics are exactly like a Stock-BuyBack.  It removes the total number of coins just as you would buy back stock shares to remove excess shares.

But the awesome part is that we can do this for any coin and do it at a cost of ZERO dollars.  This is an amazing option which more and more coins will start using to increase value.

Not sure how many coins the dev had in mind as the new total, but I would suggest under 100 million, significantly under 100 million total coins, for maximum benefit.

Cheers!

I vote to cut it to maybe 50 or 75 million. Maybe 63 million or 84 million make sense if we want to simplify comparisons with Bitcoin's maximum total. Frankly, 63 million sounds about right especially if we can eventually get this to achieve bitcoin's market cap. Also, maybe we accelerate the block halving to 50% reduction every 105k blocks (roughly once per year) instead of once every 3 years.

50 to 63 million sounds great.  Enough to make a big difference while still allowing tons of coins to be mined for liquidity and distribution.

The having every year sounds good too.  Not too inflationary.

Yeah I think we need to bite the bullet and drop the coin to around 63 million. 3:1 with bitcoin sounds pretty damn fair. Also I'm thinking that we should implement a solid rest api. The current API is a pain in the ass for integrators. Another nice feature would be if the wallet checks for updates on the windows and mac clients and it prompts the user to update. This could be a significant improvement in usability. Hey, what would you guys think if we add an option to broadcast new incoming transactions and confirmations via AMQP to a broker? If this is possible, then you could fire up multiple wallets and with a couple settings in a conf file, they could act as transaction notification agents.

This is the type of shit where we could add value on the payment integration side and make it easy for online casinos to implement an interface to the wallet.

Where do you see the hash rate?

You can see it here:
http://www.coinwarz.com/network-hashrate-charts/casinocoin-network-hashrate-chart

This is a dangerous time for Casinocoin when hash power can go from 100 MH/s to over 700 MH/s in an instant.

That was me mining yesterday for a couple of hours.
Pool owner is making his pool stronger, it can't handle more than my 700Mh at this moment.
I'll run at +2Gh tonight same time

Did you end up hearing back from any of the places you submitted the press release to?!
As well i started a new twitter here: https://twitter.com/casino_coin
we could use the twitter or Reddit for new updates/articles and can give access to the twitter if you'd like!

Vert thanks! will change the front page now

Personally I don't like giving away BTC to get a coin listed as I don't have much this is my address; 1L8mvNSYc7gh3dwhUqtLzwFhczt78bmQq2  and
12vaUMDQrw9wi6dvZ6E1GH3CVoCiRs2NsK
That is not me on cryptsy I ended up purchasing about 50,000 at 2400 satoshi as it started to fall, and everything else was accumulated from mining!

That is quite a lot of hash rate holy man! As long as the pool owner is transparent we should be fine and no attack will happen.

Was at the casino for the weekend, good times! Will get back to the usual today.

Looks like casinoco.in is now offline

1 denied it and no response form the other 4 or 5. No worries. It's out there in a few places. Now we just need to wait until the chinese redistribution sites start copying it and reposting. Usually takes a few weeks to get the most coverage out of these.

BTW, casinocoin had a nice mention in a McAfee scare paper on money laundering. I think this is new. I hadn't seen this one before:

Nice.

The value of Crypto money is not any BS intrinsic value or the math:  that's all BS.  The real value of cryptos comes from awareness and consensus.

And free press is the best way to get that.

Agreed, any eyes who read that paper must have came across CasinoCoin and went what? If they had no idea before!
In the coming days going to revamp the casinocoin.org website and make it look a little better with more information!
Does anyone want to run the social media accounts for casinocoin, twitter facebook etc ?

Bringing up the gambling part, CasinoCoinCity is still going! There's been a drop in number of players lately but just extended the server for another two months. Along with CccityPoker.
For the further development of games at cccity I would need someone to lend there expertise or Do a quick BTC funding round(maybe cryptostock or that site that's been mentioned before on here)some how to manage the addition of BlackJack, Slots(3+), Baccarat, and an actual spinning ball on the roulette(tried doing this and it's been quite hard for myself without messing up the game Embarrassed

If anyone is a php developer or has more experience then myself please message me as the previous developer is swamped and cannot work for quite some time.

Hey, let's get a page on the casinocoin website about money laundering. Something along the lines of how the coin is for gambling and not for money laundering. Then list some resources on where to report money laundering involving Casinocoin. Maybe list some anti-money laundering resources. Maybe we can capitalize on this if this a bit and get in front of the whole money laundering topic for PR media.

You could sell shares to cover expenses and make payouts every month. Sell shares in BTC or CSC and payout in CSC.

I've sent a request to bittrex.com for adding CSC, they said they would send a form but haven't received it yet.

Maybe some more can put out a request at bittrex.com to create some more interest for adding CSC.

Great idea goldseal, doing the changes now and tonight should I add a complete section titled Anti-Money Laundering? and add all the info etc there?
What do you guys think we should make the pictures on the slider of the first page or is that girl enough Tongue

If we can get added anywhere that's perfect, more exposure.

Staplez, the least I could let 1% go for would be approx $30 putting a value of everything at around $3000
With that being said im open to talk about things just send me a PM and I can add your skype if you have it.

What?  You're selling 1% of the company for $30?

What company is this exactly?  That sounds ridiculously cheap.

Where would they be able to use it currently?!
How big is the other networks hashrate?

Hard to say. I think one of the p2pool nodes is still running the old version as I'm seeing blocks being solved in both chains. There may be other pools or solo miners.

All,
Just wanted to say that you should not use Casinocoin for money laundering or anything else illegal. That's not the intention of this project. Casinocoin is meant to promote online gambling awareness and potentially solve the online casino funding problem.
Evidently, the top-notch security folks over at McAfee think that some of you are running around washing your cash and generally being net-baddies... hehe
