You say POS and POW are happening simultaneously but I have seen no POS blocks on the network.  My wallet open and unencrypted for 48+ hours and no POS blocks mined.

My point is, I think you are mistaken in telling people "you can stake your coins now." Staking implies that you will be generating POS blocks and that is obviously not happening.  If I am mistaken - show me where I'm wrong.  Show me a non-zero reward block in the block explorer, or someone chime in and say "hey I just minted a POS block!"

I think what we have here is 10,000 blocks of zero reward POW only, after which the network will presumably convert to POS only (assuming everything works).  I also agree with Phosphorous - don't see the point in having this POW period if the POS is working properly, the network would be moving along just fine.

You keep saying we need to wait until the coins "mature" which is usually a defined length of time (# of blocks, # of hours, etc.) but you have not shared this yet.

If you don't believe me, feel free to look in the code for a place that says PoS won't start until block 10,000 (HINT: There isn't any)

I actually did just check it. There is nothing that says that. MMXIV is correct and so is the code according to his statements

On a side note, minage is also correctly set to 86400 seconds (24 hours)

I have, and I didn't find one, but that does not explain why POS is obviously not working.  The MIN_STAKE_AGE = 60 * 60 * 24 which is 1 day.  Why are there no POS blocks yet?

I see Bittrex still has like 700 coins and I know they aren't staking. That could be clogging the PoS blocks, or it may be something else

Either way, we are looking at solutions to kick start it that will get it moving, regardless of what the issue is

We found the issue with staking. Actually...there were two. They weren't really our fault, and it wasn't technically broken. There was just a protocol update to PPC that isn't active, yet, so we needed to make sure it would be on the newest code

Implementing a fix to speed up PoS blocks until that kicks in and get coins staking as soon as possible for a smooth transition to new protocol in one update, rather than two

You know what? You are absolutely right. It's not worth my time to fuck with this coin anymore.
Not worth trying to even convert the shit into btc at this point.
Ignoring my first 2 legitimate requests and your response now isn't worth looking back
or the 6$ keep it as a lesson learned for fucking with new coins.

Some number of posts ago, you gave me MMXIV address MXSKhatPhzBRVfX7grjwg72eGeEJcJ37M1 as the wallet containing all MMXIV to be distributed.

That wallet is now empty, its balance transferred multiple times all over the place.

How much was sent to Bittrex, and how many MMXIV remain unclaimed?  Where are the unclaimed MMXIV now?

There are less than 100 leftover and unclaimed. Bittrex received 1700, and the rest were in PM's from people who missed the deadline, thus making the balance go all over the place

If you have PM'ed me and got your coins, please post that I'm actually sending them out
