Web Wallet Update
I know some of you are curious what is happening with this. I'm still working very hard on it! The web wallet is a full-fledged solution with lots of quality-of-life improvements to the desktop wallet in addition to a multitude of different features. Key benefits are that the web wallet is very user-friendly and usable, easily accessible anywhere and anytime without any downloads, allows for anonymous transactions, and is more secure than your personal desktop wallet...

Great to hear that you are working on it! I can't wait to use the web wallet, please get it up as soon as possible. Like you say, quality come first so dont rush..

Thanks again meow!  So, if you don't use the wallet client, what do you use for HYPER safekeeping? Appears I have yet to see all HYPER has to offer

I just use the Hyper headless daemon. Basically, it just runs as a background process and can be controlled via the terminal. I think the desktop wallet is nice, but I think it's a tad slow for me, and syncing does take a bit of time, among other things. Since I have access to a couple of virtual servers, I just start up the daemon on one of them, and it does the job. Once the web wallet is released, I will move and hold my funds on there. 

I have to say, I think you're the right choice for the HYPERfoundation meowball!! You've answered all of my questions with a quickness. For me personally, communication and visibility are two of the most crucial attributes in crypto; you have them both covered mister! Keep up the good work dude

I think the site looks pretty, and it seems they have been initiated into a startup accelerator which is pretty cool. It would be interesting to see where they go, and possibly we can hook up and work together or combine efforts.

I've been keeping an eye on how HYPER is doing at http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/hyper/

Now most of the terms are self-explanatory, and I'm assuming "24 hour volume" is either the volume traded in the last 24 hours or the amount generated by new blockchains being created.  However I'm a little baffled as to what the "Market Cap" refers to.  I'm presuming it's some kind of cap on the amount that can be traded in a certain period of time, but if anyone can clarify that for me I would really appreciate it.

24 hour volume is the volume traded in the last 24 hours, not the amount generated by new blocks. And market cap, it's simply like this

Market capitalization = Price x HYPER supply

So right now, HYPER market cap = $0.045829 x 3,873,970 = $177,542

Ah, I was thinking market "cap" meant a cap as in some kind of limit.  So it's just the total market value (in USD) of all the HYPER currently in circulation.

I just think it's pretty cool and HYPER should be able to integrate. I'm not technical enough...just have HYPER as the alt coin of choice and then maybe team up on promotion. League of Legends is neat!  I actually raised the question of LOL before.   It's huge but HYPER is going to be a nice part of it possibly someday if dev can tackle it.

Just curious if anyone has given any thought.

The idea of Leetcoin and HYPER teaming up is amazing, jt!! As it stands today, the Leetcoin/BTC duo is a competitor to HYPER imo; if the two could team up, both Leet and HYPER could benefit nicely, it seems.  Wonder if Leet would consider?....

I agree it would be nice to team up, but from past experience, other coins don't want to do that (as in teaming up as one team). A reasonable option is to just be friendly with other coins that are in the same domain. Of course, it is optimal to combine efforts because we do share the same audience. We've talked to a bunch of different coins in the past, and I also PM'ed other devs, but everyone wants to do their own thing which is fine because I guess we are like that too. The only difference is that we have a major footing. LoL, CS:GO, and other games and competitive e-sports in general are key targets. Good ideas!

I think this is a great and simple way to get involved! HYPER and EC2 have a good relationship. You can count me in. I recommend everyone else to do the same. There is absolutely no reason not to!   I think it's wonderful to get HYPER more involved in other spaces. I do think the terms are a bit confusing, but it seems like a neat opportunity for HYPER and for anyone wanting to get more involved.
