You guys really really need to get on Poloniex. The volume there is crazy and after Gamercoin went from $20,000 to 2 million people will be on the lookout for quality coins on Polo. @HYPERcrypto please can you get us added? They are smart/nice people.
There's really no need for that. One exchange is enough. Those honestly willing to be a part of community and wish to buy some HYPER, they will use Bittrex. It's really no big deal to buy some HYPER with them and its great exchange. Bittrex??? yeah right man. You might want to note the quality of coins on Polo compared to shittrex. Anyhow, dev can you do this for us? Poloniex is much bigger than bittrex and could bring in lots of new eyes. It isn't really the Dev that gets coins listed on an exchange. If enough people ask for it to be added then it might get added. Have you asked/voted/whatever for Hyper to be added at Poloniex? i agree. Coins get added by demand! Show to them you want it, then it will come! It's not really true, popularity will help but it's the dev that needs to contact them. Don't you guys see the incredible volume Poloniex has gotten? Yes shapeshift is more secure (if you are secure yourself) but IMO as a top quality coin you NEED to be on Polo. @HYPERCrypto, can you do this for us? They won't charge a thing and like to add good coins. Thanks Back in the early days (for the first 6 months of HYPER's life) we asked Poloniex to add us about 5 times, and that was just from me. I know a lot of other people asked as well. When they never responded we decided it was best to just let them add us when they see fit. Feel free to contact them asking them to add us I see, maybe a little bad feelings form the past or something. But I do think you want to be on the top altcoin exchange, no? My point was that they only add coins if the developer contacts them. If they never responded, maybe it is not because they ignored you but because they never got the emails? thanks I don't think there was any bad feelings, they are just really busy and probably didn't realize we would still be here over a year later with over 20 supported games I PM'd the admin here on bitcointalk myself, quite a few times. I have no interest in contacting them again, as I actually think it was quite rude to totally ignore me, and as a result I hardly ever use Poloniex. If you want I'll see what I can do, their quite rude to me as well sometimes even though C2 is listed there.. in the past I've asked them to freeze C2 trading while we did maintenance on our wallet and it just kept right on trading, then when they finally did freeze it, it was already too late and we needed it unfroze.. so i think the deliberately left it frozen for another 2 weeks on purpose.. polo isnt really the best exchange, but I can try to get them to list hyper if you want. I think it would be good for the coin's future I totally agree. I highly encourage the community to reach out to the Polo staff. Myself, after a year of asking to be added, I think popular demand from users of Polo might be a better way to go about it.

moved the wallet to a new machine. Loaded latest version of Wallet. Downloaded Bootstrap.
Currently updating for a day.
Can anyone confirm the estimated size of the blk0001.dat file? It's building a few kb at a time and right now at 576,000 kb. Curious how big that file gets?
Anyway. I'm in no rush. I'm just glad I moved to a better computer. Turns out my old Hyper block got crushed because of several random reboots on that machine. I'm trying to fix that old machine.....ugh...lol
Thanks all
My blk001.dat file is 856.3 MB and my blkindex.dat is 1.2 GB and I'm sync'd up. Hope that helps.

What happens when the block index(or other wallet files) gets a lot of weight that does not "fit" into a computer anymore?

You would have to get more space on the computer, either by deleting things or adding space. But as long as you have your wallet.dat file backed up, you would always be able to use your wallet on another computer with more space (if you needed).

Maybe using a paper wallet, although you can say goodbye to the stakes at the same time with that choose.....the future will bring many choices..that is for sure...but until then, scyn and keep staking...

average PC HDD space grow faster than any blockchain if ya run a lot coins then it might be a issue but u can always add a additional HDD and use a -datadir startup parameneter for a place outside of %appdata%

Ok I emailed poloniex to add Hyper to their trading, been sorta busy the last 2 days... had to move the Coin2 op to post #2. Was wondering why our images weren't showing up so I pm'd Mprep and he said its because newbie accounts can no longer post images, its supposed to help reduce the amount of trolling. So since the Coin2 official account is still newbie because we dont use it that much, the op was moved to my first post in the Coin2 thread by this account..

EDIT 3: Jesus...I just realized I'm on the previous wallet. Man I'm a stupid person....Let me do the upgrade
EDIT: Wallet shows a balance. Wallet is synced up. But it says the check point is too old and I need to contact developers? What does this mean?
EDIT2: Old coins began to stake and now there about 8 unconfirmed transactions that are labeled "POS Mined" but they are grey in color, not yellow like confirmed transactions...Below are the details of one of the transactions
{Status: 0/unconfirmed Date: 9/11/2015 22:54 Source: Generated Debit: 0.00 HYPER Net amount: -854.58 HYPER Transaction ID: 23758e30ff347c18fb02c85bf28b99d4221a4dcd48baab38f4409acfe17c787f
Generated coins must mature 100 blocks before they can be spent. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to "not accepted" and it won't be spendable. This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours.}
Hey JT! Are you sure you are using HYPER wallet version 1.5.3.2? You can see it here: https://github.com/palmd/Hyper/releasesThe contact developers legacy warning was removed in that latest wallet update back in May The warning is also just legacy code and does not mean a thing, but we removed it in the latest update for everyone's peace of mind. EDIT: Also, Windows 10 is still very new. It is buggy as hell and I highly recommend NOT using it for at least another year or so, when Windows has patched it up. Windows is just like gaming software, needs a few bug fixes and patches over time before it is really any good

HYPER is starting to get big, and with so many new game servers and competitions coming online at http://cashncarry.info I was thinking perhaps it is time to have a fortnightly online HYPER magazine that covers the latest developments in HYPER gaming. Can be things like who won the monthly blitzes, new game servers, new merchants, server statistics, etc. Advertising space in the mag could also be sold for HYPER, and the mag could be free to read online but also people could order physical print copies (perhaps with HYPER). What does everyone think of this idea? Someone has just let me know of an awesome free service we could use to make a professional magazine. Anyone interested in working on this in exchange for a bounty? The service does not require special skills, it is very easy and they can be read on iPads, iPhones, online etc. Also, you will be able to earn HYPER from advertisers. The magazine is the perfect place to advertise HYPER services and games. Bitcoin ended up with an awesome magazine, and I think with the recent growth, HYPER needs a magazine so everyone can keep up with all the awesomeness.

Hey thanks a lot for putting in a word for us King. Sorry to hear you had trouble with the C2 OP. What do you think of this idea? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=624651.msg12404311#msg12404311Maybe we can have C2 in the mag as well
