Why is the price on a continues downslope? I know I have asked it many times, but there are no FUDders atm or something bad, so in theory the price should only be going up.
there is no set theory for market movements, if no updates are here then volume will be the main driver and right now volume is low on all alt fronts I guess you are right, so when is there going to be a any updates that have a high probability to make the price go up?

Accumulate on the dips and trade between the upper and lower bands to make some quick cash before we skyrocket on the next REV update

Just think about this for a moment:
- some dumb coin copies XC's old tech and gets an article published about it
- we kindly inform the coin's followers that their dev is several steps behind XC and has implemented last-gen technology
- people rationally head on over to the exchanges and buy XC instead.
It's too easy.
It would be 100x easier if we had a whitepaper to point them to. I couldn't agree more. A white paper is on the Rev 3 to-do list. Not until REV3? There should be whitepapers for each major revision. REV2 --> and then REV3 to explain how it ADDS to the privacy that REV2 offered. New "anon" coins are added weekly to the markets. People cannot tell one solution from the other anymore. This is the last I'll post about it, but as far as I'm concerned, Dan needs to stop whatever coding is he is doing, and spend however long it takes to publish a well documented whitepaper explaining XC's current tech. As battbot will stay quiet on this from now on I just bump this to the current page. He is right imo, with a team of 11 profs a WP should not be big problem.

In that case I'll re-contribute my information on this: A white paper will come out when the core code is completed and we can actually talk about it without spilling a pile of very valuable ideas. For now, the new OP is going to clarify things quite satisfactorily until a white paper comes out. XC does not operate like short-term coins; it simply makes no sense to either (a) put out a partial and insubstantial white paper, or (b) publish the whole design before the launch.

I have emailed the site's editor and commented on it publicly this morning. Let's wait and see what they do. And, to reiterate how this will go: - some dumb coin copies XC's old tech and gets an article published about it - we kindly inform the coin's followers that their dev is several steps behind XC and has implemented last-gen technology - people rationally head on over to the exchanges and buy XC instead. It's too easy. This is free publicity for XC. It implies, for all to see, that we're the industry leader.

Ok I know you're not happy with the way we've done announcements, and you think that this is (partly) why the price is where it is. You might even be right, for all anyone knows. But can you not be reactionary about this? It's a solid PR strategy and it simply doesn't matter what people do today, or tomorrow, or whenever they buy/don't buy. It's about a narrative. It's about how the world comes to know about XC as the industry leading project. And this aspect of things is going very well, really.

If people are so concerned about short term price and minor details with how things are handled, they are always welcome to sell and move on. The very reason that most people are here is because this is not a short-term project. It's a long term project with major goals and the people on board to achieve those goals. Not everyone is going to agree about every little nuance on how things are executed along the path to further success.

that williams idiot is really trying hard to make XC investors feel dumb and divert money elsewhere. What a fucktard. I love it how people are always reposting the same shit that has been talked several times over again and has been worked out/resolved long ago. We have a great coin on our hands here, its just amusing that people are constantly trying to spread 2 month old FUD about it because there is nothing bad to say at the moment. I would downvote him, but I cant even be bothered to make an account to log in. He's a full blown cloaktard, its sad that he doesnt even realize we already have the tech of cloak...

Speaking of this, how's that deFUD archive coming along folks? That'll make short work of people like Williams in a combox.

I have emailed the site's editor and commented on it publicly this morning. Let's wait and see what they do. Well I had high hopes for cryptoarticles.com and liked it but this makes me doubt the site: They use an improved and untraceable version of XCurrency’s anon mixer (Revision 1 - which was open sourced by the developers a little while ago) . Rev 1 of the XCurrency anon mixer uses nodes to transfer money , but still leaves a trail. (according to the XC developers , it doesn't , as discussed here, so believe whoever you want to believe)
DId you miss that part? Want me to make it bolder? Very ignorant author.
