Another question, why is the difficulty going up like this, we got more wallets online stacking?

eg: this is the average a day, after XC started with POS

The network weight definitely went up dramatically.   It's at 8.9 million!   I still remember it being like 1 mil or something really low.   Shows that everyone is staking like mad.

The sell pressure always looks so mean and imposing. I just want to give it a hug and tell it it's all going to be okay.

Anyone think the launch of Mintpal V2 on the 17th will do anything for alt volume? A friendly tip for Arlyn and Teka, save us some news for Wednesday so we can initiate V2 with a bang!

The chart looks good. But i'm not sure how one can arrive at that target.

I haven't looked at all the charts but I think we will struggle to find a better looking chart in the top 20 coins. Maybe the top 50 coins (though to be fair there are some interesting coins with too little price history). It has had 2 or 3 unsustainable rallies, but m'eh, it looks like it is continuing to build a strong base. All this for a coin that flown under the radar to some degree.
That chart is a credit to Dan and the team.

Does anyone have a better looking chart? I'd love to know.

"However, since mixing can only be between nodes that are currently making private payments, this gives rise to two underlying scenarios that could limit this capacity:"

wasn't the first plan that every xc app would be a mixer and that you only could earn transaction fees if there are xxx XC in it?
i can't understand the quoted sentence above because even with the xmixer there might be the problem that there are too few xmixers online at any given time so that transactions could be cancelled.

can someone explain that to me please, the fact why the wallet is now divided into "normal app" + "xmixer".

thank you!

+1.
And what also bothers me is that you have to keep your coins online.

You don't have to be a XMixer you know?   The choice is yours...

a) you want to earn fees, leave it 1000 per wallet online and be a XMixer
b) you just want to stake, then just unlock wallet once in a while
c) you don't give a crap, cold storage offline only

Sure I don't have to. I am just drawing attention to what might become a security hole: online wallet with known real IP address and 1k XC in it and likely being either unencrypted or holding private keys in memory... Neglecting all kinds of possible vulnerabilities on a host itself, once there is a way to make the daemon misbehave - count your coins are gone. Unless there is some intricate protocol feature to protect against this which I doubt is possible. This is why I'm rising this question.

BTW, when would Linux daemon for XMixer be available?
