Hello,

I had another Mixer exchange and I was charged for the transaction.

Status: 1/unconfirmed

Credit: 528.020881 XC
Credit: 1.00 XC

Transaction ID: c416ec449ec555486957cb7a4248ba3fb36040de112d76619b460dde47058245

I just checked port 32348 and it's closed, is this the reason for the Negative amount?

No, its a known bug and Dan fixes this. Maybe your next mix will bring you back to green.

Your port is closed?  So the opened Port isnt necessary anymore?
Can someone confirm this? I would feel better to close it.

My mixer's working fine without that port too.

I guess you can close it if you want then... I'm unaware of what the backend implications of doing this might be though.

If you're still getting -0.00001 fees, expect them to go away pretty soon.

WOW Darkcoin Shills Fudders all over the Bitcoin magazine Article... Wasn't there an agreement between the Devs of XC and Dark to stop the FUD yet they fail still To accomplish that once they see that they are behind the competition and do cry baby FUDS on the most established Bitcoin Magazine....

This is a confirmation of the Darkcoin community Ethics as we saw at the beginning with the Fedora clone FUD. I would like Synechist to approach directly Evan And get their trolls back on track and get back to their agreement if they still care about their reputation in the Crypto-world.. How they cannot see that their reputation is getting fucked up over and over again is behind reason...

Well I suppose when they see a better tech implementation then their own they have a childish protective mechanism of bullism against the other Coin...

Well done Darkcoin community!

Edit: I do not want to start another war but just defend XC from yet another attack guess from who? from the same community? I can cancel this comment from this thread if requiered but I am furious at the moment.

Before Synechist approaches anyone he should himself stop referring to DRK in his own PR materials.

EDIT: ok just realized it's his standard PR practice:

Basically Bleep is like a giant trumpet blast that we can utilise for free. It's an easy marketing opportunity for us. When XChat mobile launches, we're gonna be all about trumping Bleep's privacy and security.

The Dark Crowd just get scared stiff that something better is coming... And it is...

All they can do is make stupid comments and FUD though....

CoinzCoinzCoinz buying into XC is massive though, he is a huge DRK fanboy and has deep pockets....

We need more of these guys to start coming over here... And seeing the light... And the fact he is here says to me, its happening...

I'm not going to approach anyone. As far as I'm concerned the reaction to Bitcoin Magazine's article doesn't warrant it.

It's a bit of a non-issue.

We are testing a strong resistance builded from 4 july with many testing without breaking it.

https://cryptrader.com/c/wMHxewsn

If we break out this resitance tomorrow this is going to be another history.

Nice observation there.

It means that 0.002, perceived by many as some sort of ceiling, isn't one at all.

The ceiling on Mintpal is 0.00157 and XC is right on it already.

I can't wait to see what tomorrow's news does to the price.

This coin reminds me of one stock that I buy few years ago ....long story short...it didn't move for 3 years despite good news. I hope that same will not happen here  Wink

where is the fud from the drk people? any link?

Tbh, this was asking for FUD:
Quote
CoinJoin generally requires a mixing server or some form of semi-centralised supernode (cf. DarkCoin “masternodes”). XC’s mesh networks are entirely distributed, even with the recent addition of Xmixer.

This was referencing DRK as inferior to XC, and thou this is very true peoples feelings tend to follow where they are invested.

Again, just like a female can be semi-pregnant. That's the analogy to this whole semi-centralized aspect. You either are or are not. There is no middle ground.

XC just broke its 3-month descending wedge and you think it's not going to go up?

While no-one can be certain what it'll do, both price action and fundamentals look pretty great.

Did you see Zach Chester's trading analysis on XC?

I don't agree.

Point 1- The article was written by a bitcoin Magazine employee, It is not paid PR, If the shills want to complain as they have been mentioned they should complain directly with who wrote the article not involving XC.

Point 2- It is in the right of who wrote the article to mention the coin that implement a semi-decentralized coinjoin supernode approach of anonimity to make the comparison since XC announced the Coin-join Killer with Final REV-2 release. The question is it is true or not? IT IS PERIOD. Dark-nodes ar semi centralized as it is a limit of coinjoin based implementations.

Point 3- Going against what the truth is will be counter productive for an establish magazine as this one in the Crypto world. I think they make their thoughts on what they wrote what do you think?

Now they can go cry back home with their reputation in the trash.

1. An article written from the content provided from Synechist, or as he put it, the "scoop".
2. Coin-join killah rah rah rah. I already made it a point to tackle this one, no need to do it again.
3. What truth? The article was derived entirely from Synechist. See point 1.

Face it, you guys brought it on yourselves for inaccurately describing DRK. Everything else made sense in terms of PR material but when there are inaccuracies, especially as it relates to competition, expect that competition to take note.

Functionality-wise, DRK works. That's more than I can say from XC when I used it (granted, back at 2.47h IIRC).

I got negative payment again and I got open port. I got positive too, few posts back, so it is ok. Open port on p2p application should give you advantage over closed port in term other clients would rather negotiate with open port client, than with closed port client. Like when you are downloading torrent-it works with closed port, but you get more connections and better speed with open one. Crypto wallets work same way: if you run xnode on open port, you should get faster and more connections to network, thus this gives you better chance to be picked as node for transactions. I haven't even tried with closed port, didn't know it works. Even if it is working, it gives you a slight disadvantage.
