Just bought an Item from newegg.com with XC using coingateway.net so cool!

I don't remember anyone posting actually using XC... I have read every page of this and the old OP
For all those who buy stuff online do what you can to use XC!

It may be non efficient (for now) but our volume needs to grow and I don't know about y'all but I don't want the day traders as our only volume.

With these two services you can buy most things with BTC Pair that with coingateway.net or coin4coin.net and BAM you can buy most things with XC.

XC's been stable for the entire period of BTC's downtrend, and now XC's going up.

sorry but i dont know where you see that XC is going up. Two days ago it was 175-180 , now its 151-155 and volume is awful.. so sorry but i dont see rising...

I have received numerous PM's from users running multiple wallets behind a single IP address, you can't use the XMIXER in that setup, you can only have 1 wallet with port forwarding

Would it be possible to make different wallets to listen on different ports? Or protocol doesn't support port announcements? Would be pretty useful as IPs are scarce now. Or is it possible to run it over IPv6?

its not spectacular but not awfull either. what we need now is some regular news as i stated yesterday. synechist have you heard from that chinese guy who wanted to contact btc38,i don't wanna sound like a broken record but if volume is a concern this could be a fix. Also have you guys heard from that atlas guy ? is their some contact.

just hit the infos out like you get them, even if its just in the works. everythig but the tech should get that approach.
The "release day mentality" doesn't work for crypto currencys like it does for movies or books or whatever. its fine to celebrate big milestones but don't save any news. also a preview of the ui more sooner than later would keep people excited, even if it turns out to look different come rev3. who cares.

what i wanna say is rev2.5 shouldn't be orchestrated like the last one. it should just happen like hopefully a lot of smaller things on the way to it and after.

that video interview idea is great btw.  hope that comes along.

Yes, I agree about having regular news - and there will be regular news, hopefully including lots from the community too.

Rev 2.5 will be a little bit of both. For example, the first test-app featuring the new UI needs to be pretty damn awesome, and we'll work hard on it before releasing it. But once it's released, there'll be lots of testing, feedback, and further revisions.

even if Zach Chester's track record is isane, this time he was wrong with his prediction. when looking at his chart we should now be around 185-200k and we are not even near this value

biggest problem with volume is that there are not enough sell orders near the value atm....   when people buy xc it seems to come in large chunks. more long term investers, and very few traders.

adding a large sell order will allow some of us that want to invest without driving the price up get mopre xc.
