Can anyone help me figure this out.

I have been trying to use this sgminer 5.5.5 and other versions to mine this altcoin here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3150167.msg32560127#msg32560127
  -o stratum+tcp://pool.luckyaltcoin.com:3633 -u <WALLET_ADDRESS> -p c=MOTA

But I can't seem to figure out how to set it up to mine at that pool above, can anyone help me set this up, i'm new to this whole mining thing.

https://github.com/genesismining/sgminer-gm/releases

It appears you have the parameters correct. So execute:

Code:
sgminer.exe  -o stratum+tcp://pool.luckyaltcoin.com:3633 -u <WALLET_ADDRESS> -p c=MOTA

From a command prompt (aka DOS window, CMD.exe) within the directory that contains your sgminer executable that you downloaded.

Of course, substitute "<WALLET_ADDRESS>" with your MOTA address.

Can you please detail what your issue is?

EDIT: A bat file will help in the future, but let's cross one bridge at a time. Wink

No, you should remove the brackets for it to work.  Wink

Sorry for being a total noob! But if I want to simply have a command line to use in simplemining.net for Phoenix Coin what would I use? Many Thanks! https://preview.ibb.co/dcfSaS/Screen_Shot_2018_03_26_at_11_28_14.png

I've just spent the last hour trying to figure out a few things with this miner, and I'm very confused.

I'm running 10 x 580s and 2 x 560s, mining monero.

what is hamsi-expand-big, keccak-unroll and luffa-parallel, and should I be including values for them in my config? (if so, values would be also a huge help)

Got error with sg-miner with awesome miner. Start and close after 2sec.
But running very well with Nice Hash.

-Adl found more devices than opencl!
-Warning: Number of opencl and adl device did not match
-Hardware monitoring may not match up with devices!
-There is possibly at least one GPU that doesn't support Opencl.

Try benchmark with awesome miner and miner start and close after 2sec.

Can someone help me.
Just curious why they work fine with NH.

What is the latest optimized verison of SGMiner ?
Got "red" cards and triyng to figure out what miner / verision is latest and best for different algos.

Any real sgminer verison supports NeoScrypt, Nist5, Xevan, Tribus, Keccak ? Or it's all for "Green" (nVidia) ?

Hi, you have here the following:

Neoscrypt AMD - a version of GatelessGate working well with neoscrypt   https://drive.google.com/open?id=15csmqtMBNz7O1aG815Q3R1IUL89nJ3QL

Claymore Neoscrypt, pretty new miner, superior hashrate on neoscrypt than previous  https://drive.google.com/open?id=1edGW4ZUJ_rSt_eCYLuVf_MVcR9F5z2wS

Sgminer Tribus working well on tribus  https://drive.google.com/open?id=1mHpyi7rHXolfg044Un1-IaCFjBKfXywr

Sgminer Phi/Nist5 algo, also working well on those   https://drive.google.com/open?id=1OWeWnQpNTMSlTOtuK8YmXQlNjMFhLtuk

All are coming with my configs that I'm using with AMD RX 480-580 series
Enjoy!

P.S. If anyone knows a working version of SGMiner for SKEIN, I'll be very happy to test it, for now I'm using CGMiner 3.7.3 with some results...

Nice, is the sgminer / claymore setting different for rx 560 4gb ?
I'm new AMD red rex miner
with my old green gtx 1060 i'm using ccminer that pretty easy to set up
so cgminer is for mining skein ? how about single mining blake2s did you know what miner to use?
thank's before

Is 'single' mining the same as 'solo' mining, anyway, the latest Claymore's Dual Ethereum miner will mine Blake2s. I don't know if it will do 'single' mining, but it does pool mining OK.

"Claymore's Dual Ethereum + Decred/Siacoin/Lbry/Pascal/Blake2s/Keccak AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner."

probably the default stratum difficulty is too high for a gpu, as that algo is being mined with ASICs for a while now.

You can use Google translate on chrome. It looks like it is not bad at all when you translate from Russian to English.

Hey Folks, with the help of TRM (SGMiner compatible miner) I made a SGMiner (and compatible) monitoring and alerting system app for iOS. It's FREE for 1 miner with local and remote monitoring - check it out and let me know what you think!
