Hiya guys.

Could ya fellows help me out with a config for X11 and cgminer v5.1_2015-03-09?

My bad, I had no idea this program was for amd cards only. I guess I am mining on the best program for nvidia cards.

ccminer-v1.2

ccminer-v1.2

sgminer is for opencl ...

but the best for the nvidia cards is ccminer ...

what cards do you have? ...

go to this fork if you like - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=826901 ...

unless you have older cards ...

I don't think you need "--thread-concurrency" for mining X11, but if you're using wolf's make sure you put "-w 64"

also - ( in conjunction with wolf x11 bins ) with the 290x i had ( a while back ) - i managed to push it to intensity 19 without issue ... so maybe the same with 290? ...

though now - the more beneficial intensity setting would be to use -xI 128 or 256 ( or --xintensity 128 ) ... for some reason ( probably need to ask the devs on this ) it actually performs better ...

I barely have enough power to run all the AMD cards I have; I can't use six more 280X cards.

I think he forgot a comma after 280x :-D

You may want to consider how much that would actually be, and the time he would have to invest.  Let us assume Wolf0 is able to squeeze out 0.005BTC worth of quark mining daily for each 280x (just to keep it simple).  As of right now, that equates to about $1.20 a day (per card).  I would expect this could be a $1,000 - $10,000 project.  How many years would you need to dedicate those six 280x cards to pay Wolf0 for his work?   Maybe it would be a better idea to find out how much he would charge for such a project first, and then see if you can make payment arrangements.
