sgminer is pretty much the go to miner for GPUs especially with the Wolf0 Optimized Kernels.

Just wondering if Wolf0 bin's have been incorporated into sgminer as the default .bin's as I'm getting a little over 10MH on x11 (2x 7970's) with the default sgminer install.

is virus on something that comes from link in screenshot...or does it install when trying to run these "new" bins. I downloaded rar...and unzipped...but so far have not tried to run....did I unleash or as I didn't run anything from this package...im safe?

You safe if you not run sgminer.exe. If you did it - your system is infected, virus read all passwords, scan your pc, can stole your wallet.dat files and also give an author of this miner full remote acces to your pc, but you can not to know when he is connected to your pc. You need to install antivirus or something else for internet security. Also if you have a few gpu rigs and you using Teamviewer, be sure, hacker will connect to that rigs and infect them too. All of my 7 rigs was infected by this shit, but I didn't launch this miner on them. |
