Hi. I'm on win 10, 64 bit, using SGMiner 5.5.5.
Currently I have 2 GPUs: Sapphire RX 470 Nitro+ and Gigabyte RX 570 Aorus.
I'm experiencing the strangest thing: when one of the cards is connected to PCIe x16 slot (number 1) - be it using riser or directly - it provides bigger and more stable hashrate.

Example:
- RX 470 is in PCIe x16 slot (via riser) - gives ~900 H/s stable, no slowdowns after 20+ hours;
- RX 570 is in PCIe x1 slot (via riser, the one just above PCIe x16), - gives ~860 H/s on average, but with slowly degrading performance. It could go to 840 or even less gradually.

Now I know one might think "you have different overclock settings, BIOSes, the GPUs are different after all", BUT! When I switch PCIe connections of these cards - RX 570 starts to mine w 900 H/s stable, and RX 470 drops as described.
So could PCIe x16 be the difference here? I don't see how though, since both of the cards are connected via PCIe x1 risers. Thanks.

Hey. Anybody could tell me please what's wrong with my .bat file for sgminer (x17 verge)
sgminer -k x17 -o stratum+tcp://x17.mine.zpool.ca:3737 -u 12Lcp3PgwBi1111 -p c=XVG

Pools see my worker. But hashrate is 0
looks like i specified wrong algo because there is too high hashrate (24Mgh per 570)

I have nothing good to offer; conceptually this feels as if it should parse ok; the only issue I see is the 8000 TC and worksize 64, I'm not sure if it will accept such settings (but unfamiliar with it, so don't take my word as gold)

Thank you

Hi,

I am having some network issues with sgminer. I have 10 rigs in my network that run sgminer and once in a while, my whole network becomes down because of one rig (it's always a random one). The switch port where is connected the rig in question starts blinking really fast and I have to either disconnect the network cable or reboot the rig to restore my whole network. I also notice that the network I/O is really high in sgminer compared to other miners. I only have this issue with sgminer as I have another farm with 20 rigs running ccminer and no network issue whatsoever.

Any thoughts?

If I were you, I would unplug the rig one by one to see if the network is recovered and check the IP address of each rig to see if is there any duplicate/conflict IP address. If it does not help, reinstall the rig is not a bad idea. Good luck bro.

Thank you for your reply! I checked for any duplicate/conflict IPs and can't find any. I reserved static IPs for my rigs. For the rigs that were the cause, I swapped their network cable, motherboard, cables, etc. and still not fixed. At least I now have a managed switch so it's usually only the rig that becomes down. But it's always a random one so I don't think it's isolated with a particular rig. I really suspect sgminer as I have no issues with my ccminer miners. And by the way for all my rigs I am using the exact same hardware, except for the GPUs.

What is the latest optimized verison of SGMiner ?
Got "red" cards and triyng to figure out what miner / verision is latest and best for different algos.

Any real sgminer verison supports NeoScrypt, Nist5, Xevan, Tribus, Keccak ? Or it's all for "Green" (nVidia) ?

Hi, you have here the following:

Neoscrypt AMD - a version of GatelessGate working well with neoscrypt   https://drive.google.com/open?id=15csmqtMBNz7O1aG815Q3R1IUL89nJ3QL

Claymore Neoscrypt, pretty new miner, superior hashrate on neoscrypt than previous  https://drive.google.com/open?id=1edGW4ZUJ_rSt_eCYLuVf_MVcR9F5z2wS

Sgminer Tribus working well on tribus  https://drive.google.com/open?id=1mHpyi7rHXolfg044Un1-IaCFjBKfXywr

Sgminer Phi/Nist5 algo, also working well on those   https://drive.google.com/open?id=1OWeWnQpNTMSlTOtuK8YmXQlNjMFhLtuk

All are coming with my configs that I'm using with AMD RX 480-580 series
Enjoy!

P.S. If anyone knows a working version of SGMiner for SKEIN, I'll be very happy to test it, for now I'm using CGMiner 3.7.3 with some results...

after i asked about what is mod RX bios. after knowing its usefulness then
I am easier to continue the next game. This bios mod tutorial is very good indeed for intensive memory algos like Ethereum, Monero, Dubaicoin, etc. while
Undervolting will only be used by Windows.
If we need undervolt bios to do Linux, then we need to do way more difficult. If we do not understand then we will surely be informed by investors who already understand this program. I know that Mr. Eliovp and Wolf0 are really great programs from other programs.
What can I offer:
all I need to understand is performance timing for all GPUs
Bios that mod
Support this program. I am also waiting for the renewal of this program to make it easier for me to learn it.

Can anyone help me figure this out.

I have been trying to use this sgminer 5.5.5 and other versions to mine this altcoin here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3150167.msg32560127#msg32560127
  -o stratum+tcp://pool.luckyaltcoin.com:3633 -u <WALLET_ADDRESS> -p c=MOTA

But I can't seem to figure out how to set it up to mine at that pool above, can anyone help me set this up, i'm new to this whole mining thing.
