Seriously? They don't request a token signed by that account with the deposit request message?

Maybe a ticket can be opened to request the security feature being added...

And you are asked to deposit to FIM-Z38B-MAXH-ZHXC-DWXYX address, right?
Yes, but explain what is so unsafe, watching the address and making claims afterwards?
Yes. I'm just watching http://80.240.143.139/accounts/FIM-Z38B-MAXH-ZHXC-DWXYX,
and now I can create 2 `deposit request' in my CCEDK account. Saying I've sent 30000 from FIM-SCB8-LEPH-WWFH-9K7GR and 60000 from FIM-GDV7-V46L-TGCA-CAEA2.
To whose account money will be actually deposited? To original senders or to me?

Seriously? They don't request a token signed by that account with the deposit request message?

Nope.
More than that it is the same procedure for most of the coins there. And many of them (I guess) don't even have a possibility of generating a token.

What coin doesn't allow you to sign a message with a PK to prove ownership? All those I currently hold do.

I have only NXT and FIM wallets so I can't say for sure for BC, RDD, NUBITS and others which are on CCEDK now.

It could be. But for me it's like the sign that the one who is responsible for technology processes in CCEDK exchange doesn't have the understanding how crypto-currencies works.

That would be a good test case, first money appears on the account, and later they get a claim from B, while normally there is a claim from A already (which was made before the deposit...) interesting, maybe ask the CCEDK helpdesk?, or just make the case by demonstrating the case?

Yes, It would be helpful if a test case could be made to demonstrate this point, otherwise please stop.

We do believe we are safe and secure as crypto currency exchange, and it partly evolves in not sharing too much security based issues in forum.

There are many risks in cryptocurrencies now, and exchanges built without appropriate skills - are the big source of them. I hope I warned people.

There are many risks in cryptocurrencies now, and exchanges built without appropriate skills - are the big source of them. I hope I warned people.

I guess the biggest risk is people trying to make an exchange look bad based on wrong knowledge, thinking I know best model, little insight on what's going on in that specific exchange, and perhaps even some ties to any other exchange which might loose on any future activities on CCEDK.

I expect to see in future month whether you will be supporting somebody making the news of himself trying to say he knows best, or if you will be supporting an exchange placed in Denmark, part of EU with the necessary means to offer you the possibility of trading in 4 Fiat pairs EUR, USD, DKK, RUR as well as 3 crypto based pairs BTC, NXT, BTSX.

We are here to offer FimK options, not problems!

We are an exchange, with no problems in adding the crypto currencies we consider interesting to support. We are also an exchange who has no problems removing the crypto currency if there is no support from the community.

We believe in progress, and we believe in solid arguments forwarded to our support team if it is meant to be for the good of everyone. And we will in this way react accordigly.

If posting accusations and ideas not supported simply to make some noise and negative impact we cannot accept this as somebody believing in making progress, and I would therefore like to emphazise that we are at no circumstances looking to further discuss or reveal any matters concerning our security with someone, who has not even the decency to contact us directly, but only wants to spread slander and own speculations on the forums.

I would like to finalize by saying, FimK members are all welcome to CCEDK exchange, You have been given this possibility to trade on CCEDK, it will be up to you to decide whether we are secure or not, whether you need to believe in someone who has no access to inside information on our exchange, or in CCEDK staff all trying to service you the best way possible. I have no problem taking FimK off the exchange as well, if the community feels more secure this way!

Yours Sincerely,

Ronny Boesing

It's a lie, first thing I did - I messaged him in private on bitcointalk.org regarding his deposit procedure.
Next thing I did - I asked a question about the safeness of this procedure on nxtforum.org

Allusions to 'inside information' are just words. Visible vulnerabilities - are visible for everyone.
I have accounts on like 10 exchanges. CCEDK is the only one which uses one address for deposits and not performing any token checking.

I trust CCEDK will polish their facilities to include more sophisticated systems as the FIMK transaction velocity on the exchange increases.

However it's true that similar looking deposit procedure without token was used by DGEX in its early days, and when NXT exploded in popularity it caused some trouble I remember. As long as the non-uniquely identified deposits are not disputed by a fraudster everything is good.

In any case, as always, do not store your cryptocurrency on an exchange. Transfer in, do your deed, and transfer out Smiley

I can only agree with you on all points, and FimK will be given the attention in full based on the feedback we receive in CCEDK, there is no doubt about it. Like every kind of business, success is built on mutual trust and the interest to develop together and according to demand, and it is the same here.

It is possible buy up to 325'000 FIM right now at Asset Exchange ...

Quote
Open Sell Orders
Account                              Quantity   Price   Total
NXT-WR9W-RPQW-8ZJ7-6U2D7   232.068   29   6729.972
NXT-YLSS-TMTM-DU2A-55PED          93.6   30   2808
NXT-8T4Z-6NRS-PBGB-6UWU9      18.104   35   633.64

... at 29 - 30 NXT/1000FIM, which translates to 0.00000219 BTC/FIM - compare it with 0.00000300 BTC/FIM at CCEDK !

In order to trade FIM at Nxt AE just use 1000FIM Gateway.

You can also buy FIM (for NXT) at p2p exchange (like localbitcoins) https://nxtex.net/

Looks like there is zero buy demand for this coin on the BTC pair. That is a shame.

There are buy orders for NXT though, but at about 110 sat equivelent.

I think no one knows about this coin, and after the IPO with it only being on dgex which went down shortly after launch, it went off everyone's radar.

It's great that it is on ccedk, but that is a very new exchange with very low volume.

I might have to go buy more at these basement prices, but I only can support it with a limited amount of BTC. I am already at a loss because I bought quite a bit (more) post ICO at 500sat. I'm not complaining about the price so much as the lack of activity.

I would say the most activity is there. But, only about .9 BTC volume in the last week.

So few people are using this coin. Look at all the empty blocks in the block explorer.

The lack of activity is kind of calculated at this point.

Of course the lack concerns only the public - the developers are busy with crafting services. You may wish to consider FIMK as an early beta basically without marketing in this phase, so extensive are the changes coming. Marketing and usage will catch up later. As you have seen FIMKrypto doesn't follow your standard altcoin hype pattern, because it's not your standard altcoin.
