Can't Forging!!! Huh Huh Huh
click not forging button-- start forging---unknown account

Version 0.3 is currently being tested and part of the test is running it on the public wallet.
The message Unknown Account is a little cryptic but it means your account is not whitelisted to forge on that server.

There is a more detailed explanation here:

I don't want know the explanation,  only want to know  how to forge immediately again.

Download the latest release for main net which is 0.2.2 https://github.com/fimkrypto/fimk/releases/tag/v0.2.2 and run that.
The 0.3 version is not out yet but it makes no difference when forging.

I have a 27 inch monitor I can read your text perfectly fine when written in normal font. TY.

You have probably hit the fork at block 96248.
I've hit that fork myself a couple of times. Very annoying, there is a fix for it in version 0.3 (as you can see in the public wallet and the other nodes) but 0.3 isn't out for a couple of days.

So.. Until 0.3 is out another solution is if you replace the fim_db folder in your installation folder with the one I PM'd you the link for and you'll be able to forge on your local machine.

Just exact for last month I'm forging without any problems.
Again, download 0.2.2 client:
https://github.com/fimkrypto/fimk/releases/download/v0.2.2/fim-0.2.2.zip

download blockchain copy:
https://services.spectrumdt.com/fim_db/fim_db_136281.zip

put blockchain into FIM_DB folder

Wait for downloading the rest blocks and start forging. It must work.

And check you computer's clock. It must be synchronized up to the seconds to the some precise clock time provider, and be being synchronized on scheduled basis (like once in several minutes).

Forging works fine for me.

Has anyone launched any interesting assets?   Someone could launch proxy assets for existing NXT assets, mining shares or exchange shares.   This would help get things moving.   There's no point waiting.

FIMK local forge is a big question, but it is not solved.
0.3 version has nothing updated, but only prevent some fimk holders to forge on server.
A couple of days to test 0.3, haha
I'm waiting...

Oh right nothing updated. You're in for quite a surprise.

Two months of full time development behind, the 0.3 series is something bigger than most of us expect Roll Eyes

Best to already start kissing sweet goodbye to our dear Wesley wallet.

CCPAYT.com – Instant FimK-to-Bitcoin Exchange!

It is really too good to not twitter and all a great product for Fimk'ers.

Howcome when you look for Fimk or Fimkrypto in Twitter you see nothing?

Why is there so little promotion of your coin out there where it really matters?

I propose to all people reading this thread to twitter to everybody about it and make sure as many local merchants etc. knows about the possibility of adding CCPAYT as an instant conversion of Fimk to BTC!

I believe there is an interest to bring our the news of Fimk further than just Finland, so lets help eachother make this happen. promote CCPAYT, contact all BTC merchants and make them aware that it is possible to accept FimK now as payment, all they need to do is integrate CCPAYT to their payment platform - for this they would need to contact ronny@ccedk.com

Lets go - start the twitter storm now, make FimK noticed, CCPAYT is a good start!

Please refrain from making such posts and postpone the 0.3 release as much as possible...  I'm getting used to forging too many blocks and will be totally devastated if/when folks wake up and fire up their wallets...   Cry
So YOU are one of the wise ones... future FIMK baron  Wink

CCPAYT.com – Instant FimK-to-Bitcoin Exchange!
Good work from Ronny and the folks.

The main reason for Twitter void for FIMK is that some bastard reserved the FIMK names in the early days and is asking fortunes for them. We'll come up with a solution soon enough, marketing really hasn't been the priority yet.

Prompted me to open my wallet and start forging but when I entered my passphrase to start forging, I got this message: 'Unknown account'

Why is that?

The passphrase is correct  - it opened the wallet and I've successfully sent Fimk from the account and indeed I've forged in the past (the last time in September)

Thanks

Head dev has disabled public forging on the association's wallet pending the imminent software overhaul. After that forging should again be enabled.
