My wallet still won't work. Is that problem getting worked on?

Yes, I am still looking into this and will reply to your email shortly. It does look to be a windows dependency conflict.

My wife was interested in this coin and asked if there is a exchange avaible for this coin. And what is this coin worth at the moment.

Sure, the exchanges are listed here.

You can check out the price at the exchanges.  The price of a PiggyCoin is just a tiny fraction of a Bitcoin.

Wow, I mined some of this coins around 2 years ago and it’s still around. Not bad to survive 2 years in such a though environment.

Good luck, will keep my coins and wait!  Smiley

Probably a new Altcoin-Bullmarket will lift this up!

It is a fun coin for kids. I use it for paying for some chores and other rewards. The kids enjoy amassing a "fortune" in piggy-coin. Smiley

A very nice staking online wallet/bank and Twitter tipbot from coinwallet.co!  https://www.coinwallet.co/en/currency/PIGGY

They also have a function where you can pay to e-mail addresses!

(As coinwallet.co themselves tell users, please don't keep all your PIGGY there if you have a lot. — Store the majority of your coins in your own Paper or Desktop PiggyBank, where you have direct control over the private keys.)

Since my QT wallet doesn't work anymore, I'd love to transfer my coins there and at least get something out of them. Does anyone know how I would go about extracting private keys from the wallet.dat file? And then once I have it, is there any way to move coins without a functional wallet?

Unfortunately, I don't know how to do that part if your PiggyBank crashes on startup.  I'll wait for neurocis to respond.

Based on Neurocis' email suggestion, I'm currently resyncing the block chain and the wallet seems to be working alright for that. I'm just worried it will blow up when I get to the point in the chain where it blew up before. But maybe it won't Smiley If I do manage to get it synced and working, I may just send over my coins to CoinWallet. Sometimes online wallets end up being less trouble... but you do have to make the decision to trust 'em.

Nice web wallet from coinwallet.io!

It's coinwallet.co!  Be sure to get it right, as there are other 'coinwallet' sites out there.
