and Come-from-Beyond should come and defend his name, which is now used for hostile purposes by xxxxxxxx.
why would CfB want or have to do that? it obviously has nothing to do with him at all.

Crushingly disgusted and sick. Word's can't express how let down I am. What a complete joke. Used.
We all joined NEM to support a great egalitarian cause with the understanding that it was something special. That is now 100% gone. Its undeniable. We are left in the same boat as Spaincoin, Aurora, and Flappy.
Just another coin with hopefully great features.
The distribution is fundamentally the same, and fair. + Now we are a completely decentralized initiative. +1 I've thought ShawnLeary is crypto pro and learned to be not so blue-eyed. If that wasn't a joke, then he was a mole

I think anyone with a stake that complains about this issue should reflect a moment about the real impact and should reflect on his/her own position in this thing. A smashing majority of us shareholders bought a stake for peanuts and can sell their stake for 15000-28000NXT on the AE. What did you do for this fabulous reward: NOTHING! Free money...
Now what did utopianfuture do for NEM: a whole damn lot! Only for the stuff he did on the frontstage he should have several stakes, let alone the stuff he did backstage.
Those nagging about the principle-issue of fairness, what you theoretically and scrutinously defend is practically worst than communism. Everybody is equal in rewards but a handful should do all the work for the same reward. That's not even communism, that's leeching.
And the hidden agenda of come-from-wherever-the-f*ck-you-are is blatant trolling and is doing much worse damage to NEM than anything utopianfuture did.
Я пpeдлoжил в pyccкoй вeткe coздaть aдpec для пoжepтвoвaний для Utopian Future зa eгo нaчaльный и бoльшoй вклaд в paзвитиe Nem. Bы coглacны пocлe зaпycкa пpoeктa пoжepтвoвaть eмy нa дoбpoвoльнoй ocнoвe Nem? Дoлю, stake нe дaвaть, нo aдpec для пoжepтвoвaний пycть бyдeт. Taк eгo вклaд в paзвитиe Nem бyдeт cпpaвeдливo oцeнён. --------------------------- I suggested to create in the Russian thread the address for donations for Utopian Future for its initial and big contribution to Nem development. You agree after start of the project to offer to it on a voluntary basis of Nem? Not to give a share, stake, but the address for donations let will be. So its contribution to development of Nem will be fairly estimated.

why would CfB want or have to do that? it obviously has nothing to do with him at all. Why? Obviously your name has never been abused. Think about football players and racism. Though the players have not been racists, they may carry "No to racism" flags, maybe not in this World Cup but in some tournaments. CfB could make a similar statement.

Would it be hard or even possible to create a decentralized faucet in NEM client that is funded by donations? So when people buy their first alias, send their first message, they don't have to use an outside website. Just brainstorming.

He already collected 66 BTC and several thousand Nxt during IPO.
Plus you ignore that what he did hurts his credibility. He did the right thing by resigning. The whole thing would be forgotten soon in a week.
66BTC for personal use? Even if this were true I could live with it. The big problem is that you damage your credibility if you claim the whole NEM-thing is complete fair and you don't reward yourself with enough funds (and thus have to do shit like this). But do see the bigger picture: 1 or a couple of stakes vs. the whole damn thing/system? Compare it to someone creating a children with cancer-festival, raising 10.000's $ and stealing 100$. Would you consider the whole thing as fraude and complete failure? Is that organiser completely burned? I thought we lost this kind of B/W thinking in the middle ages. Or to make a LOTR comparison: we are humans, not elves...

It'd be cool to create games people play rather than just a faucet. That why it would take time to get the NEM, which would reduce the likelihood of spamming. If we made an adventure game, we could tell a compelling story about creating a new world economy based on financial freedom, decentralization, and equality

My understanding is that the BTC and NXT raised will be distributed to the dev team as a bonus upon completion of the V1 blockchain.

Did anyone ever play the flash-based emo game? (warning: not safe for work) http://www.emogame.com/It'd be sweet if we could make a game lik that. I can't draw at all, but I could help write a story or something.

It's a pity what happend. But luckily it's just boiled hotter than it actualy is. I'm still very excited about this project!
Appears all he did was equivalent to buying fake likes on facebook, in the initial weeks of NEM. Being caught doing it was worse than his actions. Every new coin does it, bumping it with socks so people will read it. Even Satoshi probably had ghost conversations with himself in 2009. Trolls from other coins keep claiming he has 1000s of sockpuppets - lol. Fud fail. UF's socks were gone before taint analysis, except for ghost house. Claiming a second stake on top of a large devoper stake was legal if it was for someone else (but definitely greedy).

Not sure what you mean by decentralized faucet but it is total possible to setup a automated one, people can just put in an addresses then the faucet sends it to them, it works the same to donate. As for spamming, just set it up to send out .010000 NEM.
