The next release 0.2.1 will be named Aphrodite, also called Venus in Roman Mythology.  You will LOVE IT!

How long will it take to reach Angelina Jolie? Grin

She is rather tall Tobo........ I would say you must grow another 4-6 inches and wear elevator shoes to reach her.   Grin Grin

That depends where the 4-6 inches must grow......../grabs popcorn

Almost time! I just put the finishing touches on the announcement post and it's in for review.

I just wanted to say thanks to all of you who have been with us since the beginning and stuck it out beside us. I know it hasn't been easy at times but I promise this is just phase 1 of a bright future.

For those who are new or returning, welcome or welcome back. You got here just in time for the show!  Wink

v0.2.0 update notice

Good morning Crypti fellows. Smiley

The transition went fine without an issue, the new blockchain is up and running. We will run some basic tests now for the next 1-2 hours and then we are able to launch.

We will post the client links here as soon as we are ready. Please remember to not do any transactions on the old v0.1.9g branch.

Thank you and I will update you, once we have something new to announce.

She was the star in a Sopranos episode I remember very well.  If she's good enough for Tony....

As long as we're going down this road, there's a reason The Americans is my second-favorite TV show that's on right now.  I was a fan of Keri Russell all the way back in her big-hair Felicity days.  She's even better as an, ahem, undercover KGB agent in 1980s Washington DC...

The guy in the pix is Matt Rhys, who plays her "husband".  The story is as much about maintaining trust in a marriage when surrounded by deceit as it is about espionage.  A very interesting study in psychology.

More Keri:

More of The Americans (hey, you could start on these Season 3 eps right now as we wait for 0.2.0 without having seen Seasons 1 and 2, each Season is like a self contained mystery arc.  Just don't let anybody tell you what happens in the last ep of Season 2 - there was a shocking conclusion to that storyline!):

While we are running the tests not all delegates are online, so it can happen that a block comes after 20s instead of 10s. Smiley

Yeah, it could happen, saw that in the blog "One round equates to 101 blocks. Blocks on the Crypti network are 10s on average. If a delegate fails to respond during their designated block, they will be skipped and the next selected delegate will essentially secure 2 blocks and a block could be extended for 20s."

Hey Crypti Community !!

Can anyone please guide me on how to create a provably unspendable burn address?

It should be obvious, for example it could contain a lot of consecutive X's.

Will appreciate your kind help.

Hey, you can send it to the genesis account. But right now we are still in the transition to v0.2.0. We are creating the clients for the different OS now. Smiley

The genesis account is a snapshot taken of the block chain at about 0700UTC that was used to start the block chain for 0.2.

Now that we have DPOS started, there is no place to go but UP!  We are uploading the new nodes for Windows and MAC shortly.

At the end of this year, there will only be a few coins that will be TOP LEVEL.  All others will either fall away or be considered LOW LEVEL coins, or Second tier, and only used for trading for other alt-coins.

We will be one of the few TOP LEVEL coins, with real world applications.  We aim to be the  "go to" place for running DAPPS on the Custom Block Chains.

You will see this unfold here in the next few weeks and months.  Our Roadmap is posted on the OP.  Our competitors have taken great interest in it, you should as well.
