I am not a board member, nor am I any part of the Crypti team. I am just trying to be helpful.
If you look at the first 40 pages of this blog, you will see that I was a critic of this coin from the beginning, since it sounded like so many of the other coins that just turned out to be schemes for the devs to get a quick buck.
This coin debuted as "buy into the IPO, and we promise to release a coin with unique features soon". Not a very good selling point, and similar to every other coin.
But, slowly, the devs revealed that they were willing to host a limit on the BTC invested, so as not to dilute the original investors, and that they would have the funds in an escrow account, which we can monitor, and which is paid to the devs over a period of a year.
They also showed professionalism in their answers to all the FUD we threw at them, FUD which would have made a scammer run and hide.
In short, I believe that this coin has a bright future.
You're not "YET".

Another item I would like to see on the list of things to implement, although not directly to XCR the coin, is an email distribution list for wallet/forge updates, Major announcements, etc.
informer
We have a mailchimp account and will have a signup membership to be Foundation members as well as one to be notified of updates. This will all be part of the site re-design. When can we expect the re-design by? Also GreXX any update on the expanded info for the roadmap? I should have the expanded info up tonight or tomorrow. As far as the re-design, we are having trouble finding the right designer and are still interviewing candidates. We will let you all know when someone is hired and we begin work.

If you really want to hire the best designers out there, post a Job Listing on Dribbble : https://dribbble.com/jobs. Companies like Facebook, Google, Amazon, Microsoft etc have all sourced designers from Dribbble. There is no single place where you can find better talented designers than on Dribbble. You can even hire multiple designers and organize them to work in teams, much like what Dropbox is doing : https://dribbble.com/dropbox. I guarantee you, that you will find the best designers on Dribbble, there is no other place like it. Secondly, why hire only one designer? Given the amount of funding, I would recommend hiring two designers, with one specializing in UI/UX and the other in Web Design. That way you can delegate design tasks between them, the UX designer could design the mock-ups and hand it over to the other to code it. Secondly with separate designers for each design field you could have one working on the wallet UI and the other on the new site. You could also hire entire teams to do your initial design work. The team will have it's own internal developers, web designers, UI Designers, Motion Authors etc. For example here is one of the leading design teams : https://dribbble.com/CreativedashThe last thing I recommend is providing Design Guidelines for new designers coming into the team. Once Crypti has been re-branded and everything has settled down it is critical that your current designers create a "Guidelines" so that new designers that come into the team can maintain the same design style that was previously used. For example here's a typical design guideline presentation from another company : http://www.julienrenvoye.fr/corefx/

It depends really by designer, freelancing usually costs the most as it's a one off occasion, if you're hiring a team, it wouldn't be viable to hire them full time. What I would recommend is hiring a team (like CreativeDash) on a 2-month contract instead of full time. It would be better than having a single "in-house" full-time designer working day and night to get designs done, plus it would help get the new Crypti branding up within a flash. Once you've completed the new Crypti branding and Wallet UI/Website, then only would I recommend hiring a full-time in house designer. Trust me though when I say, these guys are talented, they are bloody quick too. They could overhaul virtually every possible element of Crypti's design within 2 weeks, that's including mock-ups, revisions, drafts, UX design, art direction work, design guidelines (for future designers) etc. EDIT : If you'd like I could give you a list of the best design teams and designers (in addition to the ones I've already shown you) and put you in touch with them.

Watch Bter closely. It only takes 10000XCR dumped to bring the price to 1200, and a total of 25000XCR would bring the price to 1050 range. This is a prime opportunity for a "dump and hump".

So have some experience in that field.. I'd post a couple projects on freelance sites and evaluate the candidates. I do have some contacts that might work out well for the jobs, if you're interested. We should write to jl777 to join to the SuperNETWORK: If you want to apply for you coin, write a PM to me with the following: 1. What makes your coin useful to the SuperNET. If your coin is just a clone of another coin with just some variables changed, there is no need to apply for inclusion into the CORE. It is just wasting of time. So, this means LTC cant get included in the CORE, however it can be in the spiral arms utilizing the power of the CORE.
2. Basic coin stats, believe it or not I have not memorized every coins current and future supply, emission curve, etc.
3. anything else you think will help me to understand your coin, the type of community, future goals, etc.

Rather spend that extra bit of money on a quality design team or designer instead of taking half measures. The Crypti devs want Crypti to compete with Stripe, PayPal etc head on and if Crypti's website or wallet doesn't look good, then it's dead before it's even started. Do you think the average Joe is going to spend time reading Crypti's whitepaper? No, the average Joe pays more attention to how something looks rather than how it functions behind the scenes. That is why Crypti's design is one of its most important aspects.

I would have to agree with Wulfcastle on that point. One of the reasons you go with an established firm is their reputation. That is proven not only by "that one job they did for that guy", but also the relationship they build with their clients. You want someone who not only understands the product but also understands the people behind it and can see the direction they are going. That way, when it's time to revamp the look or add new features, you are dealing with someone not only you know but who also knows you. This will save time and money down the line that you would never be able to get back. When you put yourself in that position you are charting a course for success not hoping for a win. informer
