Its great news that we are going to be added to Zaif, does anyone know when they will be adding us?

According to the mijin 'Roadmap' Q3 of 2016:
http://mijin.io/en/about-mijin

Integration with Zaif Exchange engine. Integration with major bitcoin exchange engines.

interpret as you will ...

I could be wrong but I read that as integrating mijin into zaifs back end rather than xem as a trading currency.

That's not a bad interpretation. It actually makes sense.

That's much better than get Mijin listed at an exchange.

Actually, Takao said that XEM will be included in the exchange, based on the article below :

http://bravenewcoin.com/news/japans-zaif-bitcoin-exchange-launches-a-dollar-cost-averaging-investment-service/

“We will be adding more popular cryptos such as ETH or XEM very soon. People can invest in growing cryptos while spreading their risk,”  Asayama adds."

Yes; that's also good news.

But I was talking about Mijin =)

Supernodes Update

I am pleased to report that Supernodes will begin payments on June 1st.

Please remember to have ports 7880, 7890, and now 7778 open.

Basic Step Steps to Enroll.

A) Make a delegated harvesting account on an account with 3,000,000+ XEM.

B) Boot a node with that delegated harvesting private key and make sure it is synced.

C) Open your ports on OS and router.

D) Configure and start up the Supernode's servant.

E) Send a message to NAFUNDBUKIOSTMD4BNXL7ZFE735QHN7A3FBS6CMY stating “enroll (your IP or hostname) (your node's name) (your delegated harvesting public key)”

Check your node's status and collect XEM as reward.  Smiley

Full and detailed instructions can be found here. https://forum.nem.io/t/nem-supernode-rewards-program/1735

I wish i could do this but my ISP uses CG-NAT.

Any ideas on what I could do?

PCG has started the second round! 1000XEM for the correct guess!

Which place do we search this time?

2. Unknown heights

What is the name of the mountain below?

Send the answer, with the NEM client, as a message to:

NCTID4-KM5DP5-L44PHH-DIRIXE-E7SMUK-W2FCIE-LATF

Hint number one: The name of the mountain has something in common with its shape.

Rules:
- no entry fee
- first correct guess wins
- no limits in guessing besides one guess per message,

..just send a message.

Good luck!

Well the point of Supernodes is to have a very strong, worldwide distributed, network. So there isn´t a point if we all could just do a couple supernodes from the same place. Not for nothing there is a "guaranteed" payout, as long you pass the tests, which gives incentive to people starting a Supernode.

To make it short, no.  Wink

Some people are saying bitcoins and ethereum block chain will become too bloated as users increase making it extremely slow to sync and use, will Nem face the same problem as it increases in popularity our does Nem Have different solution to this problem?

How many transaction per second can Nem handle at this moment and can it handle a million users right now? I am sorry for asking too many questions.  It's been a long time since I followed NEM so am trying to get up to date.

Is there any way we could share balances and combine them in some way to run a supernode?

Much in the same way people are doing it with DASH?

honestly, i don't get it. why two supernodes standing side by side is bad, then one is good for network stability?

Supernodes should spread on the planet as much as possible. It is supposed to be a decentraliced network.
