Hello. I need help please...
I am new in NEM and I bought some XEM using Poloniex, my plan is to maintain the XEM in Poloniex for long time (years) until the price can go up, my question is the next, is Poloniex a safe place to maintain my XEM for some years? or is there any other safer exchange where maintain my XEM safe for long time? any suggestion and help will be very wellcomed!

No exchange is safe. If your time frame is years then that's an even worse idea. I've never left any type of crypto on an exchange for more than five minutes. Get your own wallet.

No any exchange is safe.. You better install NEM Community Client and store your coins in your own computer with a backup. Also in your wallet you can harvest and collect little extra xem everyday or so  |

Remember, one year ago, on 22 April 2015 I re-posted a long post about the marshmallow experiment and NEM.
In essence, I created a very simplistic though somewhat useful graph which looked like this:

wow.. i gota point this out: Smart contracts can be used to manage information and agreements directly on a Mijin blockchain, with mathematically verifiable enforcement of all contracts. In the future, multiple Mijin blockchains will be able to have contracts with each other through the open NEM blockchain.
this is phenomenal!!!!! edit: speechless...  It also makes perfect sense. I foresee some serious NEM value in the distant future. |
