Comparing the buy orders and sell ordres on poloniex NEM page doesn't look bad: Currently trading for 695 satoshi and there's a buy order of 8.76 BTCs at this level. Also, 17.67 BTCs must be traded for the price to go lower than 673 satoshis, compared to 6.52 for it to get more than 732 sats. Probably a good point to getting into NEM. It's hard to get cheaper than this. Thinking about it...

I think it's pretty hard to call a rise like that organic. If the DAO hadn't taken a shit I don't think anything like as much money would've poured in. And in the last few months NEM's daily Poloniex volume has varied between 10-15 BTC and nearly 2000 so anything can and will happen.
Even if this spurt is short lived, it gets more people talking and researching. I think most here are in it for the long haul so there's not much to sweat about.
I agree, NEM is on more people's radar now. Smart money will research, buy, and hold. http://themerkle.com/tech-bureau-and-infoteria-bring-private-blockchain-to-microfinance/

I do my best to get XEM in the mix . just be more active at the exchange (POLO).

Soon if everything is in place XEM will be as or more valuable than Ethereum . My highest estimate for the next 10 years would be $5/xem .

I wouldn't worry much about poloniex. It's been said NEM's strategy is the Blue Ocean Strategy. Make the competition irrelevant by creating new market space. There's only so much capital in the crypto community. You can learn about it here: https://www.blueoceanstrategy.com/what-is-blue-ocean-strategy/

If NEM is ubiquitous then my estimate is $100. An original stakeholder, if they managed to hold out until then, would have $225,000,000 if XEM is a resounding success. Still the Pareto effect would imply most original stakeholders would have sold long before $100. Even at 10 cent XEM, an original stake would enough to purchase a home in a low real estate market.

I can not turn the NCC NCC says Stopped
what to do?
You mean after starting ncc it suddenly stops? In that case, try to delete the file accounts_cache_mainnet.json in the folder c:\user\<your_user>\nem\ncc and then try to start it again.

It's very small number if only about 3000 investors of NEM is out there. But this means there is potential of much bigger grow than we have seen recently.

Where is 6.5 bil from? ...You had better fix your dysfunctional calculator.... 2. Fund is community's fund. It's not the property of special individual. And is controlled under multi-sig system by multiple persons. Who else is more suitable for that work than Dev/Marketing team? 3. Each Dev/Marketing team naturally get more stake than an usual stakeholder. And they did not sell out their stake. This gives trust on NEM community. What's the problem?

Hello! I found an old backup of the purse with the extension wlt. To back up through the old version of the client, so the purse was not saved correctly. He writes that the password does not match.
Question to developers. What are the hex value in wlt file can I determine the correctness of the purse?

I'm a Nem stakeholder from the very beginning and pleased about the current Nem growth. I'm not really familiar with cryptos and how to deal with. Questions: Can someone provide a XEM-escrow service to avoid usage of exchanges? Or is it already available? (Exchange means: create an account, send XEM to buy bitcoins, send bitcoins to an exchange which sells bitcoins against Euro or USD, verify identity, then send money to my bank account) This is not user friendly (and discourages people). Or can I find private buyers/sellers (or a platform for sellers/buyers) inside the NEM community? Or any other idea, which simplifies the procedure? And btw - this is what I found about a special way of encryption. http://users.telenet.be/d.rijmenants/en/visualcrypto.htma.m. link is about visual cryptography. Might be this technology (two layers) could be used for encryption for low (secret) data quantities (like private key). Will probably make a test run (engraving polished silver bars) to test if and how it's suitable for silver coins. Meanwhile I found a suitable and secure way to sell some of my NEM (without usage of an exchange) There is a well reputed German escrow service ( www.eco-treuhand.de - german language only)which is ready to offer cryptocoin trading escrow. Wanna sell 220 000 (roughly) for 1000 USD Buyer has to register and send money to the eco-treuhand bank account. Seller (me) sends NEM's to the buyer's account. After being confirmed, eco-treuhand sends money to my account. If not, money will be sent back to the buyer. Anyone here interested in buying 220 000 NEM? (fee is on me)
