I click register, it says registered, and thats it? I thought I will get some kind of registered link or some password or some kind. This is just to see how many are active?
It's to see how many unclaimed but more importantly to provide people with a way to decouple their stake from btt. If you record the token somewhere else and delete the pm you are completely independent of btt from that point forward. Considering all the scams and lost passwords lately I think this is absolutely crucial to have as soon as possible even if it means splitting the reigstration into two parts. received the token! For the second step i need install the NEM Client, or it is possible to sent the NEM to a Exchange? This because i have no private pc/mac to install the Client. I believe (and someone please correct me if I'm wrong) that what will happen is you will end up getting a private key for an address containing your NEM which you can import into the client at any time. So, even if you do not have the ability to install the client right now, you can just hold on to that private key until you can figure out what to do with the coins. If you do not plan on using them or selling them any time soon, I assume you could just keep the private key in cold storage and decide what to do with it later. I could be wrong though, but I am pretty sure that is how the distribution is going to work. I think you are wrong! 1. Navigate to https://chain.nem.ninja/stakes/ in your web browser. 2. Enter the secret token you received in Step One. 3. Enter your NEM address. (NOT your NEM Alpha testnet address!) 4. Click the (Submit) button. Step 3. Enter your NEM address (where i should take my NEM address? As per the full instructions posted by xtester on medium: BitcoinTalk users who have successfully registered their token during Phase 1 will need to create a private key and NEM address on a portal site by following instructions that will be announced closer to the launch date. All your NEM will be sent to this address, so you will need to keep your private key safe and secure or risk losing your NEM! After the distribution, you will be able to add this account in the NEM client, and all of your real NEM will be present.
My infographic leaves this out because the details are not completely finalized yet. It will be updated with the proper steps to take when the portal site is finished and ready and all that.

There is no way for you to create an address yet - that will be handled in another step and we'll provide a way to create the address. For now registering a stake on the page like you did is all you need to do. When creating an address you will get a private key and an address and you can open a wallet with that key whenever you want. You can't have it send to an exchange.

I think some individuals forget NEM is still in ALPHA.. It's not until BETA we get our hands on the real NEM.
Once beta is released, you'll then download the BETA client, create a wallet, then do the redemption process to have the account funded with real NEM.

Got it - not a frequent visitor to the thread and tend to focus on your posts. Am I correct to understand that Step 1 and Step 2 are the only steps we are to do right now (token registration only) and that the NEM wallets (final, not alpha) are not yet available for us to use NEM addresses? Second question is - from a non-techie perspective, what's the purpose of Step 2?

As I said earlier on this page: It's to see how many unclaimed but more importantly to provide people with a way to decouple their stake from btt. Pretty tiring those PMs right ? not too bad, maybe for those in the old grumps club lol Well I know your age and we're not that far apart really? I would have thought you were older. He probably just looks really young but is super old. All that time behind a computer and staying out of the sun keeps your skin looking young.
