I've reviewed DGW and it looks like the best bet for a re targeting algorithm.  , but there were time warp vulnerabilities in its early implementations of v1, v2. v3 seems to have solved that issue, So i am leaning towards adopting it.
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Correct, with an early implementation of DGW in GroestlCoin Time Warp was exploited, search the thread for it, make sure you use the recent versions where it is fixed.

I've read that thread and, Yes, I have the latest implementation.

Good, if you keep up that responsiveness, it'll surely be a great coin !

Ok, so that settles it. We'll go with DGWv3 from the start.  I've updated the thread to list it as the difficulty retargeting algorithm.  I'll get everything worked out and tested today.

I was planning on doing it all myself.. but it may be too much!  I'm talking about setting up a block explorer and faucet, and other things.  I will offer bounties to those who create any of these services for Quatloo.
