The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Just panic selling.
What I want to know though is how many people are actually using the software?
Like if everyone sold and only kept what they needed to run the program then what would the price be?

Mr_MarKus,

Can you guys update the list of pools?

Some of those pools don't seem to live anymore.

Also, what pools are other people using?

I agree. I have been mining at http://quatloo.chickenstrips.net for a couple weeks now and I'm happy with it.

Basically I'm guessing the price is going down because the same people want to buy in again at a cheaper price and get more. QTL has much more potential. Face it, QTL genuinely has something lasting and meaningful going for it.

No matter how small everyone has the power to promote this coin through re-tweeting and being active on this forum etc. I felt like I got burned big time because, against my better judgement, I bought in at the highest price in July then it plummeted down. I realized that QTL has so much going for it and it's not just a crap coin. I voted for it, submitted requests to every exchange, and told people about it. Then it surpassed the price I bought in at. I have no doubt it will rise up again even higher. Still judging by the market cap it reached a little over $225,000 at it's highest. To me that indicates most people have yet to discover QTL.

The thing is QTL has already proved what it set out to do and it has a future. Least for me most coins out there you know are not going to go anywhere or make promises they eventually don't keep. Just some of my thoughts.

Most people here would say yes, you are indeed missing something. If you are not inclined to research this yourself and test out the Trader, then it is likely to be no good for you.  You will never know what you are missing anyway.  Good luck to you.

Just thinking this might be a good spot for a recap of what this coin is and does and will do:

This is a coin that can be mined with exiting rigs.  Good start as people who have already invested in rigs can use them.

In addition to the mining, the coin is traded on Bittrex and Poloneix.  Two good exchanges.

Then comes the Quatloo Trader.  Software being developed to be a trading interface for multiple exchanges with input from the community.  This enables people to use the same interface on different exchanges.  Lets you see orders to buy and sell the same way no matter which exchange you are trading on.  Supports (4) exchanges so far, with more to come in the future.  Lets you see multiple markets to trade between them.  Auto features like Ping-Pong, already built in allow automated buying and selling now.  More auto features to come in future, and can be requested by community.  Basically, community based custom software!

All of this with a developer that stays current with the community and reacts to issues and suggestions.  A developer willing to produce videos showing how to use the Trader and answering questions that come up on the forum.  We get to know Markus and see for ourselves that he is committed to this project.

A growing community that has put forth many great ideas for development and seems to be very positive about the future of the Trader and the coin.  A coin whose value will be tied to the success of the Trader, which is off to a great start and is sure to get better and better as it grows more robust.

Miners of the coin want to see it increase in value.  Investors want to see it increase in value.  The Trader tool helps both of these groups since it allows new people to get into trading coins and experienced people trade easier.  Having people need to invest in the coin to use the trader causes supply of the coin to be tied up and will cause the price to increase as demand for the coin grows.

Investors win with either a robust trader that consistently makes money, or a coin that increases in value.  Better yet, both happen and everyone is happy.  There is very little downside to this coin and a great deal of upside.  Considering all the coins out there that are bought into with the promise of features down the road, buying into one that has value immediately and practical added value with each upgrade of the trader, this should not be a hard one to want to invest in.

If I missed anything, feel free to comment.  Valid critics and suggestions have always been welcome on this forum.  Just another reason I like this coin!

If I missed anything, feel free to comment.  Valid critics and suggestions have always been welcome on this forum.  Just another reason I like this coin!

Everything you said makes sense. The only thing that does not makes sense is the rapid deterioration of the coins value. The 3000 coin was crap after being only 1200. The market speaks...now my investment is worth half of what is was...and i still want the auto features for accumulation and micro selling.  Hopefully it goes back up.

I don't like the drop in value either, but I get the sense that people are waiting for the advanced features.  Judging by the amount of ppl posting here, even at 1000 coins per, just not enough ppl into the Trader yet.  My guess would be 250-300 ppl at 1000 coins for 300,000 tied up.  That still leaves quite a bit out there so far.  I think good arbitrage features and renewed interest with update will start getting to the point it pushes supply.  Till then, just in holding pattern without volume.  Getting on More exchanges would help too.  I guess it's time to be annoying again to Cryptsy and Mintpal

that's the problem with the block chain on this coin? are the nodes simply turned on and off every 30 minutes?

if you take a look and the chain you'll see that no blocks were generated for nearly an hour as of the time this snapshop was taken.

you guys need some reliable nodes - block chain get stuck and then pops lose...

I had added this coin to my pools - but because of the block chain problems - I'm removing it -nothing but complaints from miners....lots of wasted hash
