PoS interest rates will be variable from 0.1 - 3% with 3% being for holding the longest.

That is a great feature and your foresight there is noted and appreciated

I understand your reluctance to give time-frames.  I would certainly hope that whatever you decide to do regarding the core protocol, it seems to me there is currently no correlation between the core protocol development and the disclosure of company/business details and plans.  So, my recommendation would be to provide as much disclosure as possible for the sake of retaining project interest and long-term investors regardless of what you decide to do in the core protocol.

Thanks for the thoughtful answers

If long-term investors loose interest, i promise you they will be back. probably a bit sore, but oh they will be back.

think about Bitcoin that it was worth pennies for the longest time, even when they had no developer to correspond with :p the long term investors who had weak hands and lost interest just think of how their impatience payed out for them

We are releasing everything in stages, so there is always somewhere to go  Wink
Further technology is to be further released with disclosure of Nexus Tech, Inc. along with my physical identity. This is the first step of a long series of stages.

Thank You,

That's good because ultimately my point is that communities form around tangible products/services.  Vague ideas and concepts are fun to theorize and explore, but they remain theories until they are accessible to consumers.  I am referring to source code and the digital recyclers.

In the absence of a finished product/service, tangible information and full-disclosure gives people something they can grasp onto which builds trust and appreciation for the concepts .  Smiley

If the concepts and ideas are vague to you, inquisition helps, or you can email me at videlicet8@gmail.com for the white paper which stands at 42 pages currently; you will realize there is application of a great many features already in the base, and new developmental features being released in their timely orders - to allow promotion and marketing around all of these new features step by step.

It takes time to do something correctly, patience for it to grow through its season to work itself to fruition.
If you are curious as to the Digital Recyclers, this link will bring you a deeper understanding:

The ideas and concepts are not vague because they are hard to understand, they are vague because it cannot be verified that they actually exist.

Therefore, the only way to accept that "there is application of a great many features already in the base", is to trust you.

I am not criticizing you or the project, but merely pointing out that currently the only thing that is tangible at this moment is the wallet binaries, mining software, the website, and white paper.  Beyond that there is nothing tangible to invoke trust.

Without source code or disclosed identities, there is little reason for people to trust you and take the project seriously.

This is positive feedback not criticism.

You can see proof in your debug.log files, in the block explorer, in my pool source code including usage of the LLP/LLD, in the prime miner holding some of the functions generated for the prime channel, by probing rpc commands, by verifying earlz third party review, reading coinbase tx outputs to verify minting system, running your calculations of the decay equations, etc. You have many avenues to pursue my friend to find your own personal veracity besides just trusting me.

As far as people trusting, this is why the price is lower at this moment, as there is higher risk until some of the other components are released and verified by the public. It is just the nature of this asset in this current moment in time, which is a temporal state that is being endured in the progression of building the tangible, physical business structures. I hope you know I understand your concerns and agree completely, this is reflected in our internal changes that have given such a perspective as of recently; but necessary to bring the technology constructively forward that I have dedicated my time developing for the past year, with many more years to come.

Thank You,
Viz.

Very well.  I have substantial buy support for CSD cryptocurrency on Bittrex and will continue to maintain this.

I hope that there is good news somewhere on the horizon, and that you can support your investors and community with a viable and transparent business plan as soon as possible.

Can anyone please guide me on how to create a provably unspendable burn address?

It should contain a lot of consecutive X's and a valid checksum.

it can also contain the word "burn".

Start with 2BurnXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX and increment the last characters until it's valid.
You could write a script for this which checks each address validity with the coinshield wallet json rpc and stop when it's valid.

Yes please do keep us updated as much as possible as to the progress of Nexus Tech, Inc., business plan, and more.  It seems to me that the community was heavily involved in the development of the protocol in early stages of this project.  One way to get the community involved again is to give them a way to get involved but that requires information.

For example you have talked about a re-branding.  Why not shed some more light on this?  I think everyone would support a re-branding of the cryptocurrency and would like to have a better understanding of the larger goals you have in mind for this network.

Since CoinShield is in fact just one feature of this project, it seems entirely logical to re-brand and expand the scope of this project.

You have suggested that you have a vision for this cryptocurrency in many other industries - what industries and applications do you have in mind?

Basically, the concepts of Coin Shield have grow past the name. We are looking at capturing Nexus as the new brand, to be symbolic of forming connections in computers, people, economies; even the nexus of neurons that allow consciousness to express itself.

The greater vision is creating a border-less economy, through a Nexus of Nodes, through a Nexus of Ideas, through the Nexus we are forming that builds the very foundation of community. Through cooperation, rather than competition, we can expand through the bounds put in place in this industry, to prove a more profitable option that comes by working together as a community to create an economy the truly frees us.

Coin is a destroyed term in my opinion, which is why we are getting away from that terminology. There is an incredible wealth of technology left before us by Satoshi, that in which I am helping expand into usable technology that can benefit the internet in many more ways than fiscal transmission. This is begun with the Lower Level Library, that when matured will be of use to any programmer as the polymorphic templates can be used to make your own custom protocols, databases, encryption, etc. In being of benefit by bringing value forward into other industries, value then is reflected back into Nexus. This is partial to the foundation of the technology, that deals in the computing systems. This will be used in the creation of many different systems that will go to supplement the Nexus Economy such as Nexus Union and Nexus Trust.

Thank You,
Viz.

Thank You Smiley

From what I'm seeing here it seems best to start the base of the re-brand now with community opinion, maybe a logo / name / theme competition with posted bounty? What does everyone think? Maybe I could put 1.0.3 as a bonus for community cooperation once we find a consensus so new wallet can be released with winning theme  Wink

Re-branding always does good things with promoting a company or product. Many big companies got bigger market share by the time of re-branding...

Amazing.  We should immediately launch an ANN thread for Nexus, or Nexus should be added to current ANN thread and white-paper in order to secure the brand.  I like the idea of creating a new Nexus ANN thread with a bounty program. All of this sounds fantastic.  I am a big proponent of bounty programs.

At this point, it would be nice to have a way to track the balances of recycler funds and dev funds from their respective channels.   I think it would be very wise to consider using those recycler funds transparently for the development of Nexus.

I don't think there's any reason to wait for re-brand necessarily.  For example, launching a re-branded 1.0.2 wallet with new ticker symbol can begin immediately.  This way you don't have to do it all at once.

It makes more sense to get the ticker symbol changed on Bittrex now to secure the brand.

Hello Nexus N community,

You are right Viz, this technology will help my new UAV company. Encryption is really good, smart and impressive.

We will work on FPGA and next on Asic using Nexus protocol or inspired by for data secure transmission.

Thanks Viz and all this community for the job you do all day.

Best regards
