You'll see it show up in your miner once a block is found as payout, as I said Viz pool isn't very active about ~10 workers, so you might want to move towards Cest Pool if you want more frequent payouts. Cestballot has fixed pool from last time I contacted him.

I started up Viz pool the other day for you because you wished to mine at that moment, but I will repeat my recommendation to using Cest Pool as he maintains it more and there are close to 3k workers.

Also I might add, balance has to exceed the payout threshold which is in reference to other accounts, so sometimes it can take some time for you to get your payouts as your account balance must accrue to a point where it gains priority to go out on the next block. They will show up in your wallet as "Mined" transactions similar to how it would appear when you are solo mining.

Thank You,
Viz.

When will the new thread will be created Huh

I don't think new thread is a good idear, but cleaning this OP is realy important befor release core 0.2.

About Cuda Miner, Viz try to found a new Cuda, dev or I hope Bitslapper can help about this miner.

We are Nexus

I've been mining for 3 days now at your pool. Where is the payout?

i'm mining at Cestballot pool. does this shit ever pay out? you guys resetting my balance or something? wtf?

We never resetting your balance. Cpu channel diff is so high. It is not easy to farm Niro on CPU channel.

Source won't be released for a few updates, nPoS is in testnet phase right now, going to release public testnet soon to verify the difficulty adjustments are properly tuned. This will move us forward into Nexus 2.0 release.

Thank You,
Viz.

Time to release first public Testnet for nPoS and Nexus 2.0.

Please contribute some power to get some coins and start staking. Testing new difficulty adjustments for all 3 channels using variable weighted average over last 10 blocks, I want to ensure that the nPoS difficulty is sufficient, last on the list is to tune the weight's influence over your required target for nPoS to ensure that larger weights don't allow rapid block production even under higher difficulties. The more data I get here, the faster we can move to full Nexus 2.0 release, as I won't release it until I have verified the tuning is secure for nPoS, and that difficulty adjustments are smooth for CPU/GPU.

The variable weighted average equation as previously posted is as follows:

Make sure to mine with port 8325 Wink
http://nexusniro.com/binaries/testnet/Nexus-2-0.zip

If you notice any stability issues send me your debug.log files please

Thank You,
Viz.

You won't get much for 6 cores my friend, difficulty is quite high. Instead of jumping to conclusions, you can post a screenshot to help in the debugging if you believe there is an error Wink

Thank You,

alright, this is bull shit. mining with a 6-core cpu server. never received a payout for mining. reported balance keeps resetting.

later. good luck with your coin.

You can use your powerfull 6 cores to help Nexus community Smiley

I hope it goes well.  Keep up the good work here nexus.  Time will tell, but I see in 3 months or so a well trusted dev, coin, marketing all coming together and price will follow.  Price follows quality always.  Just takes time.

why are you even advertising a cpu pool when you can't mine with a 6-core server?

You can very much mine with 6 cores, but you won't get very much due to CPU difficulty being high hence why there is a CPU pool. As I said if you believe there is an issue in the pool [it is still in Beta since I built it from scratch], please post a screenshot of the problem you believe to be experiencing, so that I can investigate it. This will help the community as a whole and ensure pool is operating as it should be.

Throw as much power at this testnet as you are willing, the more we have, the more data I can get to ensure the Variable Weighted difficulty is working as it should for all three channels.

Viz.

I'm in with 16 cores for now. Let me know if I can help with something more.

Edit: BTW The new Nexus-qt.exe tries to listen on port 8333 which on my main computer is occupied by bitcoin-qt.exe wallet.

Ah good to know Mumus. I changed the ports for this new testnet, I'll make sure next testnet doesn't use 8333. And by the way, thank you for your help Smiley

That build is hard coded for block Version 2, so blocks will get rejected using that build if I recall correctly. Make sure code reflects current block version which would be Version 3 for Core 1.0.2, and Version 4 for upcoming release of Nexus 2.0

Also djm34 is working on some stable builds for Windoze / Linux for both AMD and CUDA miners as well, will keep everyone posted

Thank You,
Viz.
