Litecoin is a noob trap / alternates for noobs and thus there will always guaranteed to be another pump (and dump) due to the principle of the Greater Fool Theory.  On that note it is a great short term investment if you have no problem robbing ignorant people and forcing them away from alternates for good, as many Litecoin whales can confirm.

litecoin being as we speak well over 90% of all the alt volume, makes all other alts look like a joke, so none of the nxt scams etc u speak of have a hope,, hell i hold a ton of nem but yeah tis like every bad idea in the alt community put together.

litecoin has huge advantages over bitcoin..god where do we begin with that use litecoin for a week then go back to bitcoin.

bitcoin has 4 devs completely controlling the code, now thats more centralisation then fiat, litecoin has no big anon billion dollar bagholder like bitcoin.....etc etc etc

To value Litecoin only as a currency is short sighted - its value lies in its network.

Some benefits that comes to mind:

- Litecoin is capable of 4X the amount of transactions per hour, compared to the bitcoin network.  
- Litecoin is a better candidate for colored coins (NASDAQ, Overstock Medici project, etc).
- Litecoin code is at par with bitcoin code (rev 0.10.2.2 - June 16th release).
- Litecoin SPV development is also very alive - Electrum-LTC is at par with Electrum-BTC, same for the Electrum-servers code.
- Litecoin is supported by hardware, multi-coins and multi-signature wallets (Trezor, Ledger, HW1, with Encompass / Electrum-LTC / MultibitHD / Hive)
- Litecoin has a strong mining network

seriously as i saw the range at 0.0121 i existed 1/5 for reinvesting, but as i saw the spike  to 0.014 i knew that LTC's bull move is
not over so i reentered at 0.0125  with a small loss. I knew that the popssible reward was worth to take the 2% loss.
Now LTC is 0.016-17

I estimate that LTC will die harder "up" to 0.020 as a resistance price. Volume is descreasing but there could be again one small push to 0,020.

My estimate is the same for price to be around 0.02 think it will hard to break 0.021 margin but think that it would be good to see it happen.

hope it holds together at around the 3 to 4 buck price at least after the halving

That happend to me also when i started investing exited BTC to early at 150usd an reentered at 250usd (2013).
Learning needs time, there will be allways an opportunity.
Just look around for other coins lows.

Next time you could use the Scale-in / out technique , so you dont miss the full move. (no all-in)
