Try using the split block tool in the future. There is a youtube video showing how in the first post.

you can type "moneysupply" into your debug console and it will give you some of that information. Also you can check some stats on the explorer http://hyp.presstab.pw

The amount of inflation is constantly decreasing, as HYP was designed to do.

oh.  very cool.
So what does 'network difficulty' mean in a POS environment?  I get what it means with POW.

It is basically the same thing as PoW. There is a difficulty factor that makes it so "minting" a block is either easier or harder depending on if the blocks are hitting the targeted 90 second block interval or not.

cryptsy was hacked. In retrospect the only solution for cryptsy and other exchanges in the future is one of two options:
1. Get insurance. If that is even possible to do.. not sure if exchanges can be insured.
2. The community must support the exchange in the exact same way as in the movie Its a Wonderful Life.
The exchange could return the money once they have recovered. Once people panic and take all their money out the exchange is doomed. We panicked. The next time this happens the exchange should tell it like it is and ask the people not to panic. Now no one will get the money back.

Honestly I have little to no worries about professionally coded and maintained exchanges like Poloniex. As for smaller exchanges these type of things can and will always happen. What you can hope is that they know how to use an actual cold wallet, not just reinvent the definition of cold.

You have single handedly done enough damage to HYP price so I give you special price of 20 sat.

You must be trolling right.
I only did good for HYP for all those months (almost a year+) of supporting the coin and still am.

what blocksize do you use?

i would like maximum growth and I was toying with the notion of using 2500 size blocks.  would that get me there?  or what would you suggest?

Love the coin.

Love the coin.

I would suggest using a variety of sizes. I have everywhere from 2.5k to 20k. The more blocks the better though.
