PS: I've read about staking and still i cant really understand the basic idea

Let's imagine that your neighbour asked you to help him to clean out algae in his pond. You buy a special kind of fish, HYPostomus plecostomus, and put it in the pond. After some time your neighbour gets a clean pond and you get fish offsprings you can sell along with their parents to someone else for a profit. A clean pond is the network security, and HYPostomus plecostomus offsprings are the stakes. And your neighbour is a PoS coin.

I would say the easiest way to understand it is as a dividend payment on a stock.  The min stake time is the time it takes to get the interest and the stake rate is the interest rate (usually annually).

I hope it goes so well.
http://pastebin.com/Kv58jK2f
Thanks!

Open your wallet, go to Debug -> Console and type in the command line:

addnode 23.88.59.245 add

Don't close the wallet for at least half a day.

You can always use an online staking wallet.

Yet there is no syncs, but do not understand why my wallet is gone down, I 304k Hyp, and I recevied in 1k for stakes.

Okay thanks, and what's the recommended HYP block size? is 7000 too much?

It depends on your balance and your patience. If you are planning a long-term investment, then it's better to use smaller blocks (1000-3000 HYP), because the average return can be slightly bigger due to some peculiarities of the staking formula. But you'll need to wait up to few months until the first stake if your balance is small (which means you have a small number of blocks). Too small blocks can cause a big dispersion, i.e. you will get stakes irregularly even if you have a big number of blocks (but your average return will be still slightly bigger than system-wide median), which can be quite upsetting. But if you want an almost immediate return, even 7000 is too small now.

This is one of my preferred cryptos. It is one of the best you can buy to stacke.
As a PoS cryptocurrency it has a big stacking percentage that really makes it a good investment.

This guy can be right. I've got a PM from him. He is not a scammer, he just wants to help (though you still should be alerted and not modify your wallet files without an advice). It seems that you have had some problems with Norton before?

Try to install the wallet on a system with no blocking software.

Run the wallet under administrator.

If that do not work. Disable all your AV/Firewall for a test to see if that is the problem.

Yes, for now try to reinstall the wallet (the latest version, v1.1.2) and disable (temporarily) all firewalls/antiviruses. If you can, try another system, for example, on VM (virtual machine) or VPS (virtual private server).

Worked on a few technical items today:
- Adding the blockhash to each header so that the wallet does not need to rehash the blocks on startup each time (this makes for a quicker startup). The only downside is that this requires a resync of the chain
- I beleive I have fixed one of the most annoying problems that HYP has had over its entire life span. The tendency to jump out of the bootstrap... I was able to modify some code to have it handle this problem, and successfully bootstrapped from block 0 to 500k+ without having to restart the wallet or do anything special.
- I also modified some of the GUI code to refresh less. This makes a big difference for big wallets with lots of blocks that in the past have been calculating things like their stake weight every 5 seconds. There is really no reason to check stake weight that often (for the GUI at least).

Hope to have some of this stuff better tested over the next few days.
