I have blocks of 5447 at 13 days age. When should I expect them to stake? Qt says 3-5 but it hasn't changed in a few days.
Thanks

I have some 4,5k blocks older than 120 days and the wallet shows they still have 46 more days to go... This is the new HYP reality. If you don't want to wait, increase your block size to 15k or 20k

so what is the current inflation rate?

average is sitting around 240% which can be seen here http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/HYP/index.php

That is the average annualized reward for any given block that stakes. The coin supply is inflating by about 0.002% each day, which comes out closer to 73% annual.

Although the average stake is hitting around 240%, we are limited to the amount of stakes that occur each day, and to the reward that each stake receives.

Take this to an extreme example to understand the concept: imagine if HYP had a supply of 1,000,000 coins, and the network only allowed a total of 10 stakes per day (instead of current 960) and each coin automatically got 1,000 HYP reward. This would inflate by 10,000 coins per day. That would result in 0.1% inflation per day/36.5% annualized.

Now imagine if each block that staked was only an input of 1 HYP. That would be a reward of 99900% - not even annualized. But out overall network inflation number didn't change at all, it would still remain 36.5%.

Also just a quick note, I typo'd in my above post, it is 0.2% per day/73% annual, not 0.002%

I think if you add this to the fact that some people have lost coins, use off-line cold storage, or are not staking for one reason or another the percentage the coin supply increases is lower than the average stake percent.

I agree with Iantunc, I think that HYP is extremely undervalued, and is going to jump up in the near future.
